Everyone can think what they want, but having so few seniors, this bodes well for the next few years.... We'll have a chance to recruit quality players, redshirt them and actually start to re-load instead of re-act... What a difference a few months make.... Was anybody else this optimistic last May?

I have the same thoughts about the o-line and all of our skill positions... We're poised and ready to grow into a great team....

That video gave me goose bumps... it's been over two years in the making, waiting for a game like that....Great job... I love it when Riley pounds his chest, runs over to the fans and throws the talon....People laugh at me now when I throw them, not anymore...

That was a huge win and erased a mountain of uncertainty..... And all you have to do is look at the stats, Riley's opening start was higher rated and a win compared to Vizza's... But again, at this point, Riley's our man, and he's 1-0 as a starter...That speaks volumes...

He definatey walks up to Dodge and says "Your kid's hell of a player"... I loved the way Riley deflected all praise to his O-Line, stable of bacs, the wr's and over and over again to the Defense... Oh what a difference a year makes!

Offensive Line... The wholes Cam and Lance were hitting were huge... And in the 4th quarter, it really looked likd Sack State dl and lb's didn't want to get hit in the mout anymore... I loved our impose our will, clock chewing final drive.... That was breaking the other teams will and clsing the deal...

I guarantee you Pourhouse has every game on that's being televised in any way.... They are way too solid.... Guaranteed....

This team is feeding off it's own energy... Imagine the reaction to 25,000 fans, eagle screaming throught the PA, Fouts shaking under the chorus of "North" "Texas" from each side... With the Southlake support, Riley did lead them to a state championship, and the student support I can see us getting to 25K...I'd love every minute... And once again I'll be upfront in the RV section with my Wife, son, mom and dad....

#15 Jamaal "Don't call me Jamel" Jackson Got to love the poise of the Juco Player...Anybody that saw the game knows he got in the end zone, but as it was, the icing on the cake... 4 Rec. 86 yards... One drop... Welcome to Division 1 football... Bubble Screen, broke 3 tackles and to the house.... Lightening in the bottle...Saw the same thing in the scrimmage and it translates... Soft hands, crisp routes and YAC for days.... I'd love to see us get the ball in his hands any way we can.... My adopted unit of the week: Offensive Line....296 rushing yards! Are you kidding me! Hole's 4 yards wide and backs running north and south...

You called it sir....Lynch Pin win....That's the shot in the arm they needed....This team believes and you can see it on every face and in every eye...We may not win them all but by God we're going to play passionate physical football.... I'm ready for Ohio....

Cautiosly Optimistic pretty much sums it up. From the scrimmage, it looks like we're a larger more physical team, but as has been pointed out, Ball State will be a fairly good barometer of our teams current position... But either way, can't wait for the first tailgate at Fouts....Only 12-18 more home games left in Fouts correct?

6 wins, we miss out on bowling but are competitive in all but one game and TD satys to finish this thing out and lead us to the top of the Belt... Gotta believe at this point in the year... If Ball st. tears us up by 3+ TD's, bad signs ahead in my eyes...

We got to get butts in the seats, period. I never got marketed season ticket packages as an alumni, it wasn't until I inquired and went to the ticket office? Do we hit our grads up for season tickets? I'd like to see us partner with Denton ISD and Lewisville ISD to offer discounted or even free tickets to all DISD and LISD students...At least their parents buy a ticket and bring future recruits a nd students...Even if it's a general admission end zone seat...Could bring a few extra thousand local fans into the stadium...

Well put & I concur... I'll stop by for the grand opening and have a drink or pregame meal.

I don't care if it's up the gut, student body left, misdirection or the option read, just get our best athletes the ball, period. They worked the zone read quite a few times in the scrimmage and it seems to set up wel for us with Riley's athleticism... Also saw them work the zone read with Riley then passing out of that formation... It's like the 21st century play action... But please God, no more bubble screens...
