  1. I keep thinking the same thing. Great running game, solid dline and d in general.... Getting hot at the right time... Killing me inside.
  2. I want a ladies watch. See you Saturday!
  3. Love showing up at the end of the party. Zone is the best option when you don't have the athleticism to run man.
  4. Class Act... Great Night, great speech, cannot wait for next year's banquet after our 1st winning season since '04.
  5. You can also listen to the Hank and George feed via kntu.com, they're about 5 seconds behind so its a nice recap to the play in case you missed it...
  6. Agreed, where's the anticipation, the enthusiasm? Very disappointing.
  7. Do not understand this decision. Very perplexed by the play calling, special teams issues, weak tackling and overall apathy. Not at all what I was hoping for.
  8. Good meeting you boss, you got a beautiful family, small world indeed.

  9. Nope. He led Marshall to their only win vs a ranked opponent in the program's history beating then #6 Kansas State, at Kansas State, in 2003, the year they won the Big XII over Oklahoma, finishing with the highest completion percentage in the history of the program, higher than Chad Pennington and Byron Leftwhich... But those 2 sacks in a losing effort are definitely something to brag about.
  10. Nothing like seeing the action, so I will be purchasing off the Tulsa website, and then listening to George and Hank online as well if possible. I was pretty pleased with the quality of the ESPN3 feed for the Indiana game, hope it's worth the $10 for Tulsa...
  11. It was a great film, my wife even sat down and watched it start to finish and she has zero interest in baseball. I imagine he still goes to games, he still lives in the same house and works in the city. Did find it interesting his lawyer said he doesn't use credit cards with his name on them to avoid the reaction. I wouldn't wish that whole situation on my worst enemy, and the city of Boston opened their arms wide for Buckner as soon as they one a series. I was watching the Texas game against the A's when the same thing happened, I was actually laughing at the idiot and thinking about this film as soon as it happened. I imagine general sports fandom has declined so greatly in sports etiquette and knowledge that 95% of fans would do the same thing. Feel forry for Bartman, his name is now a verb.
  12. I too opted for the XL, gold, antiqued, with the emerald, but had a family diamond inset in place of the emerald a year later. They didn't offer the diamond option back in '03. I wear it every day with a sense of pride, nobody gave it to me, I earned every last cent to buy it and put in far more than the required hours to achieve it. Love it and would do it the same all over again, kept the emerald when I had it replaced as well. My wife transferred in from A&M and never got one, touchy subject, it's my goal to someday suprise her one day with one, if I could only stop using all of our discretionary income for MGC donations and season tickets
  13. classy. braggart: A person who boasts about achievements or possessions. Bragging would be boasting about his wins, multiple records or post collegiate career or my collegiate athletic accomplishments. PS - first time I've ever mentioned it in over 2 years and nearly 800 posts.
  14. Those games help support our program, would love to drop them, and I'm sure RV would as well, but unless you have a few million to toss to the AD each year to offset those revenue streams, keep dreaming boss. Pack the stadium, buy an extra seat, contribute to the MGC, get your friends to come out and maybe, just maybe, we'll be able to ditch body bag games in say 2016 or so.
  15. I think the front to back spacing is improved, side to side is about the same, but I bought 5 seats in row 13 in lower bowl just so I could make sure I could stand the whole time and not bother anyone behind me. I also got a seat for the 3 yr old to create a little extra side room. I'm not a small guy at 6' 200, but haven't had an issue yet. And I love my last row seat, no need for chairbacks, the concrete wall provides a nice back rest for sitting during timeouts.
  16. I'd say it has more to do with Marshall and Nike having a near decade long relationship. They didn't offer Nike Jerseys, even though thats what they wore, the entire time my brother played QB there. They have 13,000 students, 9000 undergrad and 4000 post grad, not a size issue, it's a longevity issue.
  17. Our line is a freaking joke, our receiving core is a joke. Romo is not, has never been, and won't ever be the problem. He single handely kept us in a game we should have had no business winning. Now that we have a capable Defense, he can play conservative and be better. Bottomline, I don't carfe who you start at QB, with the absolutely pathetic line they have protecting for him, anybody's lucky to maintain a drive. Our lack of TD's was a direct result of play calling and OL mistakes when it counted. Check the numbers, check the new ESPN QBR, take a poll of GM's and coaches around the league, 70% would love to have him on their roster tomorrow. I've never been a Romo fan, but I respect the guy immensely for what he's trying to do with the biggest cluster since the Mavs pre-Cuban. Romo is not the problem, we all say over and over again it starts and ends in the trenches. We're starting 2 freaking ROOKIES on the OL and a 2nd yr center, I don't care who you are, that's a recipe for disaster.
  18. Was just about to put one up for sale. Shoot me a PM and we'll work something out.
  19. Agreed Harry, good for the belt, I do love Mario Cristobals enthusiam, except when its at our expense.
  20. Troy in 03 was my last witnessed victory, nearly 8 years.
  21. They also have a ridiculously good defense.
  22. Brisket and trimmings, potato salad, kolaches for starters since we can't get those in Florida to save our lives, some steak on a stick, all from the comfy confines of Fouts with the RV. I've got two parking passes in the Victory lot, but I can't shell out $400 for a RV season parking pass when we're only bringing it to one game. So we'll have main post in fouts and some watering holes on the way to the stadium for refreshments. I could be tailgaiting in the middle of somebody's front yard in Denia for all I care, the dream is a reality and only 3 days away. We fly out tomorrow to come back, cannot wait!
  23. Demand should far outweigh supply in this case, likely to be the same case with the Indiana game as well. I'm thinking more and more this will be a sellout.
  24. Still Wingzone tickets as of this morning, just bought 6 more for my group of now 22 for the first home game.
