I don't think it's ridiculous at all. I'd bet every player on the team had a nicer stadium and facilities in high school than they do now at UNT. I'm not saying it's the main reason but it's definitely a big one. I'd rather go play at a DII school than here because of the stadium. Honestly, it feels just like a high school football game inside the stadium at Fouts on a Saturday.

umm...I never said they didn't tackle in practice (by the looks of it, it wouldn't surprise me though). I was saying about damn time he realizes the need to INCREASE the amount of time spent in this area.

About damn time. I am starting to question the coaching here. Me and others on this board could have told him this during the middle of the season last year.

Pretty sure they don't practice tackling and it's a combination of bad coaching and a lack of athletes.

I think we probably deserve to be in that spot. And I do think we are the worst team in the country. Hopefully that changes soon.

Fire the strength and conditioning coach. We are weak and slow. Fire SP teams coach and any other HS coaches and get only coaches with college experience. Go with JUCO players. We seem to only get scrubs that come out of HS with a few exceptions.

I have some of the "football players" in class and they act all cocky like they are good. How about not give up and try and win a game and earn your scholarship. They ought to be pissed after getting the @sses beat and not goofing around.

NT91 is right. What the hell man, we don't look any better than a 5A high school. Some wins might help more students want to vote yes for the stadium.

As im sitting here watching the game with my roommate, I don't understand how we are the weakest team in D1 football. We can't wrap up when we tackle. If we get touched, we fall down. Is this a coaching problem or a lack of athletes? It's a good thing we have Casey, he is THE team. Riley is looking pretty good too.

Ya we should probably stay there until we prove we are good enough to get out. I haven't seen anything the past 3 seasons to prove otherwise. It sucks but it's true.
