They want to spend it on recruiting?? Some people are idiots. If you vote yes for the new stadium you ARE spending money on recruiting because kids see that we have a nice stadium that is comparable with the other big schools in the state and so they say yes, I'll go to UNT.

Ah yes, good one. I thought they actually might mention it because they were talking about FAU getting a new stadium and maybe somehow tie us in and how the Sun Belt is making strides to become more nationally recognized. Would have been a good talking point, I thought. Speaking of the stadium, it's been brought up by one of my professors which he said would raise our fees however much and I quickly had to point out to him that it goes into effect AFTER the stadium is complete. Then again today, in my Sports Management class we were discussing facilities and how they help with recruits and he (being very involved at UNT as he claims) didn't mention a single thing about it but rather talked about the rec center. I didn't get a chance to butt in and mention our *hopefully* new stadium and the vote coming up.

So it's "Interactive Tuesday" on ESPN Tuesday night football and people can text in comments and this one just scrolled across the top of the screen and made me LITERALLY lol.... "North Texas will bounce back and win the Sun Belt" Wish it was true but I'm pretty sure there is no chance in hell that's going to happen.

Well I'm still not sure they don't take some from tuition money.

I think after a loss it sucks. It's insult to injury. I've tried to defend this team the past few years to all my friends who have always seen what I NOW see.......we suck hard. No more defending this team. They have lost my support. Basketball has a lot of pressure now to perform but they actually have REAL athletes so it shouldn't be a problem. I'm tired of being in class with these "football players" who act all hard and like they matter. They are crap. I just want to say sit the F down and quit acting like you're somebody. If I were them I would be ashamed to wear NT football stuff on campus. I can't believe my tuition money pays for their scholarships, that makes me want to throw up.

I'm a student and I didn't go tonight and I don't plan to go next week. Not until this so called "team" can prove it can actually play college level football and not on Junior High level. I'd rather stay home and watch real college football. What a shame.
