So basically you're saying since she seems more like a normal person than a politician who use words most people in America don't understand she isn't smart?? I would say she's got a pretty good head on her shoulders if she is a governor. Joe Bidden has had WAY more than 2 gaffes but I would still consider him a smart guy.

Because the idea of taking money away from someone who worked hard to get to the point of where they make that much money is ridiculous. It's really the principal of the idea. I hear you about the plumber though, damn college degree.

I agree. Maybe it's a pride thing or maybe it's an American thing but I want to support myself without anyone helping me buy groceries or anything else. I realize some people do need help and that's fine and I am willing to help them but it will come through me. Not through me, then the government, then the person in need.

Wow, Joe Biden's comments are ridiculous. I'm all for helping out the less fortunate but how can you justify, whether or not you make $50,000 or $500,000, taking money that someone earned? If you feel that you should help out the less fortunate than you should. The government and Barrack Obama shouldn't decide what to do with YOUR money. Am I the only one with this thinking??

I believe it's Derrick M. and I have sent him a message on Facebook but if for some reason anyone has it, she is wanting to do a follow up interview after the results are released. Let me know!

That's sort of similar to how I answered a question that Ellie Hogue asked me during the interview. She said students against the stadium bring up the point "why do we need a bigger stadium when we can't fill the one we have" and asked me what I thought about that. I said that yes, it usually isn't full but I believe the reason those extra bleachers were added were so that we could become a D1 program. But with the new stadium and having a higher capacity, we can bring in bigger conference teams such as Baylor or aTm which will fill up the stadium with not only our fans and the other schools fans but college football fans in the metroplex wanting to see big time college football. Plus I added the money it would bring to the city of Denton.

Yup I agree. If anyone is able to get the podcast I'd like to hear it.

Also like i have mentioned above, after doing the interview with her on the phone, she said she has seen the new plans and thought they were great so she isn't against the stadium at all.

She graduated from UNT in December of 98' I believe she said. Really nice lady actually and seemed to be for the new stadium as well.

She told me she saw one and said it was hard to read. I was in the Gateway today so not really in thee middle of campus but I didn't see any.

Ya well hopefully with the interview I was able to give her and others that have called, she will do it sooner.

We first had a conversation then she turned on the recorder and did a phone interview for about 5 mins at least. I'm pretty sure she is doing a follow up story. Like I said above, I told her about the REAL facebook group that is students FOR a new stadium and also told her about GMG.com for more information regarding the YES side of the story.

Also, she told me she made a facebook account and joined the group she thought was for the stadium and said there was only 10 students so I led her to the real group for the stadium with close to 2,000 members. Also gave a shout out to GMG.com and told her how everyone on here is very optimistic that it will pass and there has been a lot of exchange of information for and against the stadium.

Actually in talking to her, she said she had seen the plans for the stadium and thought it was great.

I just had a phone interview with the woman who was on campus today doing the story. She interviewed me for a good 5 minutes or so with plenty of questions. She told me she talked to about 10-11 students and some of them didn't even know the vote was going on and th rest were against it. BUT, I def. gave her my side of the story and why I'm for it. Maybe they will have another story for students for the stadium. Let me know if so.
