Just got done early voting in Denton at the Carroll Building by the square. Line was short, maybe waited 10 minutes so if you're voting early, I'd check that place out.

You're welcome . Thanks to the alumni who did their part to get the word out about the stadium vote. Also, thanks for not giving up on us students. I can't wait to step foot in the new stadium in 2011 and I hope for guys who have been following the team for 20+ years it's the sweetest feeling they have ever had at a NT football game.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa everyone. What happened to not wanting to play big time teams that will kick the crap out of us? I think for the first home game in the new stadium we need to get some DII school or some team we know we can kill (Calhoun Middle School possibly?) and beat the living crap out of them. Boost some confidence and make the opening of the new stadium even sweeter. Plus, I'm pretty sure it will be a sold out game at the new stadium and we need to let our fans be the majority and be as loud as we can be.

What's interesting about it? It's true. When I tell people I go to UNT they either have never heard of it or if they had they always say "oh ya, good music school."

Great idea but I'm guessing since they voted no they have never been to a football game at Fouts and will never go to one at the new stadium.

Ya it was pretty quiet today from what I saw. I don't know if this has been posted but on my way to class I noticed the signs with the pic of the new stadium and the words "The Time is Now" were in front of the dorms off of North Texas Blvd. and over by the rec center.

Oh no doubt about it. Awesome game. I just don't see them doing that again in Tampa. If you look at the scores from the 2 games the Red Soxs have won, they barely got by. I'm really just trying to stir up the baseball discussion seeing as how it's been dead on here so far.

I never said it makes her more qualified but I do think it is a nice break from the typical politician and is more attractive to a lot of people. I believe her executive experience would speak for why she is a qualified candidate.

I don't think the Red Sox have a chance to win the series now that it's going back to Tampa. The Rays have played well all year and all postseason and I just don't see the Sox winning 3 games in a row (2 on the road in Tampa) to win the series.
