    Oh man did I enjoy this interview. Phil is a character and we will miss seeing him on the sideline. The story about his brother Jerry and Mike Leach was great. I have known Jerry since I was a little kid. I was cracking up, because Jerry has always coached with passion like Phil.

    If I remember correctly, Eric was working out of a trailer at Incarnate Word. I'm sure the jump to a P5 OC from an FCS HC was a large bump in pay. He took a bet on himself and it worked out. I don't blame him for making the move.
