  1. The basketball team has a $31 for 31 wins campaign going. I gave to that
  2. Live look at Aune to us GMG folks laughing at him for declaring to the draft.
  3. Congrats to Austin Aune on the invite to the Falcons camp.
  4. I work as a regulatory consultant in the Financial Services world. Just because there are rules in place, it doesn't mean that the businesses will follow them. The regulators (NCAA) need to establish better rules and come down hard (fines/loss of scholarishps) on the ones that abuse them. However, the media checks are clearing so they (NCAA) could careless.
  5. Yeah, pre NIL. Unfortunately, college athletics is now a business. We are a small fish in a big bond when it comes to dollars and cents. Until we get proper funding from boosters/outside organizations, this will continue to happen. Let's enjoy the players we have, hope they are developed, and win some ball games.
  6. XFL or USFL maybe https://www.nfl.com/news/top-undrafted-rookie-free-agents-following-the-2023-nfl-draft
  7. Wow, bad way to start the day. Cowboys are having a bad draft and 2 of our dudes hit the portal.
  8. A statue QB from Navarro JC. Rumor has it, his sister is still waiting at Apogee for someone to bash his name.
  9. I think Vito said he was a preferred walk on as well. I haven't seen an official announcement from the team either.
  10. I think Mainord coached his brother at Kentucky. JD probably knows better, but I think that was the connection.
  11. He was a bit undersized but seemed to be good team player. Sucks to lose a guy, but can't blame him. Best of luck Dane!
  12. He was on the preferred walk on list, I am wondering if he got a scholarship offer due to the kicking struggles this spring. Here is what I wrote about him a few months ago. Mikaeli Nguma Sharyland HS (Mission, Tx) 5’10 150 K/P Mikaeli has a strong leg. I’m not sure if they will use him as a kicker or punter. He had a career long field goal of 53 yards as a Junior. He received walk on offers from McNeese State, UTEP, and North Texas. 2022 Stats: 45/46 PAT 11/17 FGs Long Distance of 44; 36 Punts 38 yard average Long Distance of 56 yards;14 were within the 20 yard line
  13. Interesting interview with Deion on Pat Mcafee Show today as well discussing this.
  14. The Stars are the one bright spot for DFW. I didn't include them because they don't stress me out. Well playoff hockey can be stressful, but it's a ton of fun to watch.
  15. True, just scarred from the WS runs and early exits in mid 2010s.
  16. Mean Green Football, Cowboys, Rangers, and Maverick fan here. I wonder why I keep finding more grey hairs.
  17. KFC must be doing well in San Antonio.
  18. Yep, I met one of the good ole boys that coached with him for years. The guy was an ass. I wonder how he recruited players when he was so unfriendly to fans.
  19. Not just that, his son produces YouTube videos every day that get a ton of views. He has 285,000 followers on YouTube. His videos average 250-500k views. Like it or not, Deion is here and changing the game.
  20. I mean he never coached DL prior to his time here. Not bashing him personally, but that hire was always a head scratcher.
  21. Do Cajuns put horse in gumbo? I recently learned on my trip to Italy that horse is a popular meat over there. Nevermind, wrong Coach O
  22. He played well his freshman year. Not sure what happened with his development.
  23. At Maryland last year, the 2 TEs they used combined 70 Receptions, 800 yards, and 6 TEs. So Enos does like to use TEs. However, it sounds like Gumms had some off the field issues here. He will need to grow up, or he won't see the field at Arkansas. He's easily replaceable in the SEC.
  24. The Baylor transfer kicker hasn't made it on campus yet.
