  1. My prayers are with you Brett
  2. Im glad that we brought in a flask that game.
  3. Im excited for next year, however if we dont win more then 5 games, I wont be able to think of any more excuses.
  4. I hope we can get a WR coach with college credentials, no offense to Coach George, but I think he made the right move.
  5. I just cant see Texas going to the big 10. Who wants to watch Texas play Purdue, Indiana, Michigan State,etc...
  6. That is a big boy.
  7. I could have won the lottery last year but I didnt. UNT has struggled in turning the ball over and making turnovers. Its simple, if they dont turn the ball over on offense, and cause more turnovers when they are on defense.... We will win more games.
  8. This is a great hire, and it makes me respect Dodge more.
  9. I have heard from multiple sources that Robbie Deheck was leaving the team as well.
  10. I read on the east texas sports forum that he was also in Tyler today.
  11. Sounds like a great hire, I hope he has control of the offense.
  12. I never was impressed with Hall, im sorry if it offended someone. I think Derek Thompson is going to be our future QB. If Riley makes as many turnovers as he did this year, we will have a new coach and QB.
  13. I wasnt impressed when I watched the video of Hall on rivals. Good luck at UTEP, I really dont think this is a huge loss.
  14. He wont touch the field there for a while. The redshirt freshman was highly praised in spring ball as Vittatoes replacement. His name is Tim Curry, a 6'4 pocket passer from a small town in East Texas called Elysian Fields.
  15. Congrats to him, I kind of felt bad that Tubberville ran him off.
  16. Nice pick ups, hopefully they can contribute next year.
  17. According to smoaky.com... Y'Barbo commit to UNT. Sulphur Springs offensive lineman Mason Y'Barbo has given his verbal commitment to play at the University of North Texas. Mason Y'Barbo smoaky
  18. According to espn insider WFMY-TV in Greensboro, N.C., reported just after 4 p.m. ET that sources close to Duke coach David Cutcliffe say that he has accepted the Tennessee job. RockyTopTalk.com reported earlier that a source in the Duke athletic department said that Cutcliffe was expected to make some sort of announcement shortly, though it was unclear on what. However, Knoxville News-Sentinel beat writer Austin Ward tweets that no one who covers the Vols has heard that it's a done deal, and that a UT source confirms that the interview process is not over.
  19. If this Lincoln gets hired Ole green guts should get the gomeangreen.com poster of the year award.
  20. This is great news, but how are we going to get in a good O/C? Todd Dodges ego is to big to let anyone change up his offense. Unless he gives complete control to an offensive coordinator, we arnt going to be able to bring in any serious candidates.
  21. Boise beat Oregon 19-8 , Ohio State beat Oregon 26-17, how is that more convincingly? Boise struggled against a Tulsa team that lost 45 to 0 to Oklahoma. Boise only beat FCS UC Davis 34-16, how would you expect them to play with Bama, Florida, or Texas?
  22. Congrats to Boise St, but I still think that Texas, Bama, and Florida would beat them. Boise struggled in the year against a weak Tulsa, La Tech, and Nevada. SMU beat 2 out of the 3 teams, and to say that Boise could beat Texas, Bama, and Florida is absurd.
  23. We ran the triple option when I was in high school. It was a fun offense to run, then my senior year we tried to put in the spread. From an offensive linemens perspective, the triple option was exciting to run.
  24. Yeah he is the top coaching prospect for the job.
  25. Going to the Independence Bowl, cant beat 30 dollars for a ticket. Only down side is I will be attending with a bunch of aggie fans
