Well according to espn Sources: Departure to Pac-10 coming By Joe Schad ESPN Archive The departure of Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State to the Pac-10 is imminent, four sources within the Big 12 said Monday. One source said commissioner Dan Beebe's last-minute plan to save the conference has "zero" chance to succeed. Another source said it is "very unlikely" to succeed. Texas' interests in being aligned with the research opportunities and academic missions of Pac-10 schools is driving the decision, along with money. Beebe's last-ditch plan included an emotional plea about preserving rivalries and maintaining the best welfare of the student-athlete, one source said. Texas A&M is now most likely to join the SEC, a source within the Big 12 said. This move, in the wake of Colorado and Nebraska's departure, would further diminish the chance of Beebe's plan succeeding, one source said. Texas' decision is expected to come no later than Tuesday. One source familiar with Texas' plans suggested a hearing on Wednesday at the Texas House of Representatives is "a nonfactor." Joe Schad covers college football for ESPN. I don't know about yall but I dont think anyone knows what the hell is going on.

I googled Nebraska to big ten and this popped up. Report: Nebraska Accepts Big Ten Invite Updated: Friday, 11 Jun 2010, 1:35 PM CDT Published : Friday, 11 Jun 2010, 1:34 PM CDT LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska has officially accepted an invitation to join the Big Ten Conference, according to a report from the Omaha World-Herald. World Herald sports reporter Brian Norton reported the accepted invite in a live blog from the Nebraska board of Regents meeting at 1:23 p.m. CT Friday. Norton said Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany contacted Big 12 Commissioner Dan Beebe spoke Friday, and that the invitation was officially extended and accepted. The move means the Big Ten will jump from 11 to 12 teams, allowing the conference to split to two divisions and hold a championship game. To any University of Minnesota fan, the prospects of having Nebraska enter the Big Ten can be summed up by a single score: 84-13. That was the results of the clinic the Cornhuskers gave to the Gophers in a woefully memorable football game in 1983. “I think if you’re a fan and if you’re a fan of really good football, I think you gotta be excited about this,” said Gopher football broadcaster Dave Mona. “I think Nebraska has got the potential almost immediately to become a rivalry, I think the paper said this morning that they’ve played Minnesota more than any other Big Ten team.” In the past 50 years the two teams have played each other 15 times. The Gophers’ only victory came in a 24-16 game in Lincoln in 1960, the same season the Gophers won their first Rose Bowl berth. In every game since, Nebraska has manhandled the Gophers by a combined score of 567-126. Mona says bringing Nebraska into the Big Ten would certainly add to television revenues that the schools share—Minnesota would get a bigger cut of the money. But most important, Mona says it would increase the level of competition, and the Gopher athletic program would have to step up.

Adventures of the big 12
-
Because I personally hate USC, and I think its funny the Big 12 is splitting up.
-
I just read this on espn, what a great day. USC is banned for 2 years from a bowl, and the big 12 is falling apart.
-
This is from espn insider. In a taped phone interview Tuesday on College Football Live, Kyle Parker told host John Saunders -- and we're paraphrasing here -- that if the money is right, he expects to play pro baseball. This sentiment certainly dovetails with what Bill Schmidt, the Colorado Rockies VP of scouting, told Scott Keepfer of the Greenville News: "We thought he was our best guy, no doubt, and we believe as a group he wants to start his professional career. He has a little leverage. He has three years more of football, but we believe that he'd like to get out and play." As we've pointed out, you don't use a first-round pick on a guy and then low ball him, so the Rockies obviously intend to get this deal done. A bonus in the $2 million to $3 million range should suffice to buy Parker out of his football career, which means that when fall camp starts, Tajh Boyd will be the Tigers' QB.

Comparing Winstar and Choctaw to the Horseshoe, is like comparing the Sun Belt to the SEC. I would love the idea of the Horseshoe stadium though.

Clemson will be ok even if they do lose their quarterback. If I remember correctly Sam Bradford had his first career start against UNT, and he wasn't expected to be a great quarterback.

Texas isn't going to the Pac-10. I would be very surprised if this happens. -
Sounds like a good under the radar player.
-
Haha I just hate being disappointed after the games, alcohol is a depressant.
-
Not having to get hammered to enjoy a UNT game.
-
I watched the show, but I missed the part about Gandy. It was an interesting documentary.
-
Ha no a student at UNT that has nothing to do with the football team.
-
I heard he had a tryout with the Chiefs. My source isn't the most credible so I wouldnt say that its true.
-
It does suck for Riley, but I think he is going to be a better slot WR than QB. I think we are going to surprise some people next year. Plenty of slot Wrs have at one time played QB in high school or college. This is a smart move by Todd.
-
He gets hurt on NCAA 2009 a lot too.
-
I was reading on NFL.COM that UNT is having a pro day on March 24th. I wonder if Tobe is going to work out for scouts?

Hell yeah GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
