If you are going to provide your fans with information via the Game Notes on the Athletic’s website it should at least be accurate. Every edition of game notes up until the October 15th version listed Osborn as the #2 quarterback (the October 15th edition listed Osborn or McNulty) now, according to Brett’s reporting, McCarney claims that Osborn has always been #3. I don’t claim the right receive any information from the Athletic Department or Coaching staff, but if they do provide it I think I have the right to assume it is correct so that I can pretend to be knowledgeable.
