GMG Crowdfund, Round 2: A Delicious Proposal
NT1978 replied to TheTastyGreek's topic in Mean Green Football
I am tired of hearing how broke we are. It is simply not true. If we need to buy our AD a sandwich, we can do it. I guess the big ffffing $1.25 that Quoner promised for the project won’t be fulfilled, or the $.81 Tasty so generously offered, or the 2 or 3 others who have scrounged up or found change for this worthy project. Stop insulting some of us with this b.s. Just what do you think is happening behind the scenes right now? -
GMG Crowdfund, Round 2: A Delicious Proposal

Just because he is sub-par doesn't mean his sub sandwich has to be below par. Dig deep (in the couch) and donate. -
Select Andrew to be your second, in case you oversleep.

Two questions. How drunk was the guy? and, Did you accept his offer?

UNTLifer it might be more beneficial to the people that want to contribute to the fund be urged to go to directly to UNT for the contribution as contributions to GoFundMe are not guaranteed to be deductible for tax purposes. Plus UNT does not charge any fees for the contribution. The link below will take you directly there. UNT will issue the required receipt for tax purposes. Donate to Douthitt Endowed Scholarship FROM THE GOFUNDME WEBSITE: Is my donation tax-deductible? Donations made to a GoFundMe Personal campaign are generally considered to be personal gifts and are not guaranteed to be tax-deductible. You can always check with a tax professional to be sure. Only donations made to a GoFundMe Certified Charity campaign are guaranteed to be tax-deductible. Not sure if you donated to a Certified Charity campaign? You should've received a tax-deductible receipt from our charity partner FirstGiving. You can also visit the campaign you donated to and look for the 'Certified Charity' badge. Here's how it looks: If you don't see the 'Certified Charity' badge on the campaign you donated to, then it's likely a Personal campaign. You'll need to consult with a tax professional in your area to see if your donation is eligible to claim as a tax deduction.

We need to show a little more sympathy for this guy. Can you imagine the stigma of having to go on to the alumni fan board with all your fellow graduates and admit that you couldn't afford to send your daughter to SMU and had to settle on sending her to a State school.
-
You know what tempo and 5 hookers have in common? Neither can survive very long at SMUt
-
If you are not concerned because the game reminded you of the UNT vs GA game in 2013. Remind me of how UNT did in 2013.

Where would you spend the 5.5 Million @SuperPit?

Spend some of it to officially change Tony Benford's name to Tony Denton, that man could coach. -
MGB breaking news -- Aniefiok will not return
NT1978 replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Basketball
As long as the business he needs to take care of is not how to pay for graduate school now that my scholarship has been pulled, I agree. -

And the facts are, you can compare an apple to an orange. -
Ryan, I have to take exception to your post! Kram1 is a good friend of mine and there is no way that this is the dumbest post he's ever made. I have read several of his other posts that make this one look absolutely scholarly. Don't worry Kram1 I got your back.

It is for Cost of Attendance. Does aTm require their players to actually attend?

If UAB would have cooperated. Then the mini-conference would have only been UTSA, UNT and Rice. Since all tie breakers within the mini-confernce would have been the same. It would be the win loss against the first place team. Since we beat LaTech, we would have been the 7th seed.
-
http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/c-usa/sports/m-baskbl/auto_pdf/2014-15/misc_non_event/tie-breakers.pdf When FIU won that made the win percentage in the "mini conference" UTSA .600 UNT .600 Rice .400 FIU .333 If there are ties in the percentage wins in the "mini conferenc" then Head to head is the next step. UTSA and UNT were tied at 3 wins and 2 losses in the "mini conference" so since they beat us twice they get the 7th seed. the other seeds are by win percentage since there are no other ties.
-
FIU defeats UAB. I think by the tiebreaker rules. UTSA is 7, UNT 8, Rice 9 & FIU 10
-
Marshall lost. If FIU loses, then I think we are seeded 7 thanks to a win against LaTech
-
if UTSA, UNT, Rice, FIU and Marshall all finish at 8-10 does anyone know how the tie breaker will work?
-
I agree with this last paragraph. This team is one exciting group of players to watch. It just makes you wonder why we are a .500 team.
-
This is like Ground Hog day. If Scrappy pokes his head out at the end of the season and sees .500, 6 more years of Benford.
-
I think he would fit in nicely here. He has locker room cancer written all over him.

UTEP has a problem much like us. I think they beat #9 too many times this year. -
Thanks to the money they threw around previously.
