NEWS RELEASE NORTH TEXAS EXES, Denton Chapter FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE DENTON NT EXES TO HOST MIXER ON NOV.7 AT THE SUPER PIT WITH UNT BASKETBALL COACHES AND MURPHY ENTERPRISE CENTER . The Denton Chapter of the North Texas Exes will host a membership mixer on Wednesday, November 7 at 6pm at the Super Pit ( North Texas Boulevard at Highland) on the UNT campus. Featured speakers will be UNT basketball coaches Johnny Jones and Tina Slinker who will give a preview of their seasons. Also slated to speak at the mixer is Joan Ackerson, Associate Director of the Murphy Enterprise Center at UNT. Denton County Exes members and their guests are welcome to this free event, which will feature drinks, snacks and door prizes. Entry to the Coliseum should be through doors D and G. The mixer will be the debut of the new Denton NT Exes basketball t-shirts, which will be on sale.

FAU forced 3 fumbles and made 4 interceptions. I don't understand fans who tear down our conference mates wins over out of conference opponents and then whine when the announcers do the same when we perform well. I think that we should congratulate FAU on a fantastic game last week and thank them for their contribution to bringing a little more respect to the Sun Belt Conference. Besides, the better we build them up, the better we will look after beating them this Saturday 35-31.

NORTH TEXAS EXES, Denton Chapter NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release Contact: Jim Hobdy, Publicity Chair 940-387-8935 DENTON NT EXES PLAN GAMEDAY EVENTS FOR SEPT.22 FOOTBALL GAME The Denton Chapter of the North Texas Exes has planned two events for the upcoming home football game on September 22 vs. Florida Atlantic. The Exes will have a table in the Mean Green Village in the afternoon prior to the football kickoff and will sell the popular "SINK NAVY" t-shirts. Proceeds of the sales will go to UNT student scholarships. Immediately after the game, the Exes will host a post game party called the "FIFTH QUARTER.", which will be held at the Exes Center on campus. This is an opportunity for fans to 'decompress' after the game and have refreshments and a light snack while the traffic is clearing out of the stadium The Fifth Quarter is open to Exes members and their guests.
