Ok, your Villareal fired a coach one year removed from bringing us 4 four Sunbelt championships and honored us as he was “Coach of the year” 4 times. He was not fired because of wins/losses but because of a personal vendetta! Folks the wrong man was fired and we can blame our new president for buying into the pitiful RV and not investigating the situation. Rick’s timing is very typical of a person infatuated with removing DD and not worried about the consequences. Now RV is now guaranteed to go down as one of the worst ADs ever. Why would one fire him before the end of the season? It does not strengthen the search for a replacement nor does it have any positive effects on our players. Remember it should be about the players! Again this was not done for any other reason than a personal vendetta against Dickey as usual RV shows his true colors and they are more yellow than green.
