  1. Think Seth kept Fine in so our offensive statistics keep looking good to his potential P5 mistresses.
  2. Should we fire Littrell at halftime?
  3. Wow! Kiffin is embarrassing Littrell. Disappointed our team didn't come ready to play. Spent too much time watching our own highlights.
  4. Why does our announcer keep calling Nick Smith "Nick Moore"? Who is Nick Moore? Happens every game.
  5. Brett doesn't write the headlines and that headline is obviously an error by the webmaster.
  6. McGehee was a qualifier out of high school who redshirted at Arkansas. Why would he have to take a summer class unless it was a GPA issue?
  7. Did Tyler Wilson land anywhere for this season?
  8. So you are complaining that a minimum wage employee of Barnes & Noble can't explain to you the benefits of the Mean Green Club, a product they don't even sell? Weak. Do you have a smart phone? Did you think of Googling "Mean Green Club benefits"? And you are STILL going to join the Mean Green Club, but you are going to wait a little while as punishment? Lol. I bet you $100 that the minimum wage Barnes & Noble checkout girls at Alabama or Ohio State can't tell you the benefits of joining their booster club either.
  9. I am so excited for the day when our starting QB race isn't between a bunch of walk-ons.
  10. Frank Wilson If Seth Littrell was coaching at Alabama and Frank Wilson was coaching at The University of Phoenix, Wilson would still outrecruit Littrell. Great recruiters can recruit ANYWHERE. Remember Vic Trilli? Hey, we are in CUSA!!! Trilli's promise to his recruits really did come true. 😃
  11. He will graduate so he must be a little bit of a competent person. If we took him, he would be here only for 4 months. He went to multiple high schools and multiple colleges so he must be part knucklehead too. I would take him only as a PWO.
  12. You could make a strong case that we have lost three of our top four would-be returning playmakers (Ivery, Goree, T. Wilson) That is troubling, especially when your coach is not recruiting high level talent and is banking on his ability to develop players. Can't develop kids who leave your program. All programs lose talented players, this is just a lot of returning skill position talent to lose since the end of the regular season.
  13. Well, since you bring up Wes Welker, Welker had 26 receptions his freshman season for 0 TDs: numbers that look a lot like Wilsons. Not saying Wilson is Welker, but Wilson is a talent and this loss hurts.
  14. Man, I thought this kid was TALENTED and a potential No.1 reciever type. If it was grades, would they announce that he left the team? Wouldn't they just announce him as academically ineligible and couldn't they just let him redshirt while he got his grades in order?
  15. Why don't we just get commitments from all the best players that Nick Saban is recruiting?
  16. Two ways to be good at recruiting: be better at selling or be better at choosing. Right now, Seth is opting to go the be better at choosing route. Neither way is easy. We can whine all day that we aren't winning recruiting batttles, but Seth's first season was a success. And as long as he keeps succeeding then I will give him the benefit of the doubt on recruiting.
  17. Isn't QB coach at a P5 a position that will always be available to Graham Harrell? I mean, if Mike Canales can get that same position at Tennessee at this stage of his career then someone with the experience and name recognition of Harrell could easily get a job as a P5 QB coach any time he wants. But if Harrell wants to be a HEAD COACH someday then he should stick with the gig that provides more responsibility and play-calling duties even if he can't make as much money as UNT OC than he could as OU QB coach. Seems that lowly QB coach with no play-calling duties (even at OU) would be a step down for someone trying to climb the coaching ladder.
  18. Well, we certainly didn't include Rice just to be nice. Having OU and Oregon's name on the camp brings a bunch more players. Rice isn't attracting anyone extra. We better be attending Rice's camp down in Houston.
  19. So I guess we let Rice participate in exchange for them letting us participate in their Houston-based camp?
  20. Why are we celebrating Wren for getting Houston to Apogee? RV already did that. As a fan, I would still rather have a home and home vs. Army.
  21. So, according to this, best-case scenario is we are dropping Army for Kansas or Kansas State... Didn't Kansas State come to Fouts a while back (Lance Dunbar game?)? Kansas can't even sellout their home field. Army was a fun game. Still dumb.
  22. Hard to do that when our AD is scheduling a freaking school like Liberty.
  23. All you TrustWren-ers who believe he is going to bring some awesome P5 program to Agogee are forgetting that Army is a better draw than almost ANY P5. A good UNT team vs any Army team at Apogee could be our first sellout. A lot of closet UNT fans would love to post pictures of themselves at a game with their school playing Army. You also get the local 'Murica lovin' crowd at a game vs. a service academy. What P5 could sell out Apogee? Maybe 20 or 25 programs. Is Wren bringing in Ohio State or Notre Dame? Because I have a feeling that the secret game he is working on for us is with his dream job of Oklahoma State. Will Oklahoma State sell out Apogee?
  24. Don't worry, if so, Wren will forget to send them the check. So we traded two games with one of the most prestigious institutions in the country (with a rich, glorious football history that every football fan has heard of) for two games with a controversial fundamentalist religious school with a start-up football program that has no following? I'm sorry, I want Wren to succeed very badly, but like some of you have said, this is dumb.
  25. The posts above me called Brett: Brent and then Britt so I thought "Let's keep going with this!"
