There was a post few weeks back....Think it said something like CUSA is enforcing bascially that all non-immediate team related personnel can be on the field. I assume GB will be there, but just in the stands only.

mine wasnt all that smooth...it kept taking me to a payment window (which i've already paid for the tix previously, of course..) So who knows, I was likely doing something wrong. I just picked up the phone and called the ticket office. A girl answered and just ran through it for me while on the phone, done.... I didnt get my original seats I had last year, but I figure with a percentage of no-shows, people are gonna just move around to get better views as long as they dont get too close to each other.

Now you have the perfect chair to sit in for hours and watch the game! #Hemoroids.

yeah but even Big Bowls, if they held to 50% capacity wont likely work financially....Sponsors will back out...

Mason Fine Starts His Coaching Career In Pawhuska
trud1966 replied to MGNation92's topic in Mean Green Football
Yeah - I assumed he would slip right into be a GA here...But I know those slots are prized and fill fast...Maybe MF had his sights on going pro, so applying for GA wasnt his Plan B. Good for him. He'll make a great coach. -

Apologies if this covered somewhere else already..... Has UNT stated anything about when/where to pick up season tickets? I'll hang up and listen...

I always have to laugh when people turn their noses up at schools like SFA coming to play us...Really? Lets win a couple of bowl games back to back (and possibly, to back) before we starting turning into "we're better than that..." I've gone to see SFA play at SMU a few times over the past 10 years. It's a small school, but they bring a respectable crowd and their band. They DAMN sure brought more fans to an SMU game than SMU ever brought to Apogee... So I say unless we're on the uptick of a power streak, at the very least, lets make it an enjoyable experience of a Saturday, help fill the seats, even if its the other teams fans....And I absolutely LOVE any time another school brings their band. Seriously, I dont know what it is, but that always makes me smile. You'll always hear someone say (including myself...) "oh cool, they brought their band!"

The flavor of the day answer is, there’s no solid answer to that question, yet ... So far everyone is staying out of the corner when that question is asked. Not sure if it was posted yet or not.. But, the annual Navy vs Notre Dame game to be played in Dublin this September was cancelled a couple weeks ago. That really sucks... Think about how many people have scheduled travel plans and vacays around this event. (BTW, I went to Dublin in 2012 to see Navy vs ND, it was a blast). So far, the game has been rescheduled to be played in Annapolis. (Yes, even though being played in Ireland, and ND are the Fighting Irish, technically, Navy was to be the HOME team, it's their turn in the series...) This will be the first time the game has every been played in Annapolis, in the series (Since 1927...)That’s very telling, because whenever Navy is the home team, they have to play off campus, because of the huge crowd the game brings, especially ND fans. Navy’s stadium only holds a little more than 40K. So far, there’s no real info on how tickets work at this point. So I think that means it’s just a placeholder for now, until they get more details figured out. It could likely end up being reduced tickets sold -or- no fans allowed... I’m concerned this might end up being the case for numerous games. I hope I’m wrong.

Wow....Now, as bad as this season has hurt, and makes ALL of us judge as to the "program", and we're not as far along as we should/would/could/want to be, etc....Take a collective breath for a minute and think about this... Firing BOTH these guys Monday after the season ended terribly, and NOT giving the OC a 1 year "Grace Period", to me, is not only the right thing to do, but more importantly, it's a Big Program decision move. Years in the past, we've seen this thing/drama drag on for season after season, keeping our fingers crossed, hoping, waiting, compromising. I hate this season, but man, I'm BEAMING with pride how people are being held accountable, band-aids are ripped off and we're making an effort, with a sense of urgency, RIGHT F'ING NOW.... Being the boss is never easy, and leaders take the arrows first into battle. Good for Seth....Lets fix this... One thing I need to clarify is this. I’m never happy about someone losing their job. I’m not celebrating this changing in leadership in the program. What people have to remember is these guys weren’t shown the door and thrown out immediately because of records. It is much is respect to them to let them go as soon as possible, so they can find jobs quickly to provide for their family. When letting someone go, from any job, to keep your own integrity, And out of respect for them, it’s best to release them as soon as possible and not string them along. So to be clear I’m not thrilled or celebrating two men lost their jobs. I’m pleased that the program sees the need to be expeditious on all levels. I wish both of them the best of luck.

yeah - thought the same thing? Why would you put that kinda surgery off?
-
i would assume there's got to be some move....This isnt the Todd Dodge days where he's getting paid $150,000. Seth is paid pretty well and with that comes expectations. He'll get pressure AD, who gets pressure from the University, who gets pressure from boosters. For better - or - worse, alot of things have to change...Personnel is the easiest/first/smart one to do.

Seth Littrell Writing Checks He Can't Cash
trud1966 replied to MGNation92's topic in Mean Green Football
well, unfortunately, if you think about it, Offseason has started. -
Rough, and heart breaking. Feel absolutely awful for him. It's certainly not how he thought his year would turn out. People should show up not only to support the team and thank the seniors like Mason, but it's a big pat on the the back to all of those player's parents too. Showing up, unconditionally is how WE thank their mom's and dad's for raising great kids that represent, not just the team, but the school and this program. (People have to remember, it's ALL THREE of those things, not just 100 guys in shoulder pads...) This has been a bad year...We might very well get killed on Saturday....But come anyway, see the band, shake your friends hand for the last time until next season, load up on hot dogs.. Go into with a positive attitude. Don't do math calculations in your head based on a record or how you "hate the DC," to justify thanking/supporting someone. I'm older now, been going to games for 30 years +. When I see those teams every year, and I can recognize parents in the stands, I don't think of the players as "their kids"....They're OUR kids.... You wouldnt/shouldnt bail on YOUR kid to "send a messege", right? Shut up, and SHOW UP.

They’re 1-9, there’s more green in the stands, we brought our band, and coming off a Bye week. Someone needs to go.
