Our athletic program loses money. Where is the extra money coming from to pay them? -
Contracts could be for one+ year(s). Employee status would bring tax questions into play. FICA and income taxes would be due .
-
If I am not mistaken, the NFL deducts sack yardage from passing stats. It may give a more accurate picture of rushing and passing offense. It doesn’t change total offense.
-
Am I correct in that only four of our portal transfers have committed to another school?
-
As long as he received the required residence hour, I would think he could. Most schools require like 30 hours from their institution .

If I didn’t miscount, Tulsa has 23 players listed in the portal.

If the NIL is about business, what is the return on investment for paying a 6-6 quarterback $500,000?

Or maybe, he knows someone coming here from the portal,

SHSU was 9-3. Seven of their wins were against teams with non winning seasons. Keeler was 2-3 against winning teams. As I read the board, for man, those are the wins that count.

The FBS record for ECU opponents is12-24. Their other win is against a 3-7 FCS opponent.

The advantage of the bye is an extra week to prepare for a different kind of offense like the one Army runs.

Our game was the only one in our time slot not to have at least one team from a power conference as competition. The SHSU -FIU game was on Tuesday night without major college football competition.

USA Today has UNT ranked 53, Tulane 40 and Memphis in the 20s. -
USA Today must have been impressed. We lost and advanced 14 places from 70 to 56.

Is this the best team UNT has ever had?
Graddean replied to meangreenfaninno's topic in Mean Green Football
If I counted right, the 1968 team had 11 players eventually drafted by the pros. Of the 11, three players were drafted in the first round. I don’t know if this is considered part of the Paleolithic era or not. -
***OFFICIAL TULSA vs UNT IN-GAME DISCUSSION***

When your QB is hitting 65% of passes for a 20 yard/reception average, you are not going to lean on your running game. We can say it shouldn’t be that way, but it is harder to maintain focus in a blowout. -
Another of many indications that NIL is broken

If the coach made the offer, I believe that would be a violation. The athlete should know it was a violation. It seems there are no clean hands on either side. -
Bleacher Reports has us in Orlando’s Cure Bowl on December 20 versus Troy.

I was fortunate to see #75play for NTSU. For those of you not lucky enough, you missed a real experience!

They did make our win look better.

UTSA and Traylor likely heading to Pac12
Graddean replied to Dannymacfan's topic in Conference ReAlignment
The PAC12 is in name only. More accurately it is the Mountain West West. Will there be nough TV money to pay say Memphis for increased travel costs? It is, in fact, a G5 conference.
