We won’t know until Saturday (actually we won’t know until the next 25k attendance game) I’ve been as critical of WB as anyone but his letter wasn’t fluff. He specifically said what he’s going to do to address the issue. Not just “we’ll do better” I’ll give him credit at least for that. He can’t go back in time and erase what happened so this is all he can do. For me (who has been critical) to want to pound on him even more at this point would mean 1. I have something personal against him (which I do not) or 2. I’m done with him and he needs to be fired (which he doesn’t) He F’d up, he said he F’d up, he said he would fix it and he told us how he would fix it.

He not only addressed the issues and took ownership but he laid out what he is specifically going to do about it. well done.

I wonder if Boise State or Cincinnati or UCF stuff sells in their respective areas? Boise may not be a good comparison but Cincy and UCF have big programs to compete with….and lots of pro sports. I bet they sell much better now than they used to. Probably has more to do with national rankings and big bowls than their marketing departments. Seth Littrell is the biggest marketing arm this program has….

I’ll always watch the games. The question is will it take much effort to watch the game. Meaning I’ll always watch it if it’s on TV unless I’m at something my kid is doing. That’s about the extent of my effort to watch these days.

They've been a program for like 30 minutes. And already have a better season than we've had in 100 years. I hate that UT junior college just as much as anyone but our leadership (again) puts schools like that in position to talk shit to us...we deserve it. Maybe we should...I don't know....have our own 11-0 start? Maybe once? That should make you angry at our leadership for putting us in that position... Wren Baker runs a program that has been passed by a school that most people don't know is any different that UT Pan America or UT Permian Basin or UT Tyler.... The AD at UT at San Antonio has a better football program than Wren Baker does.

I think people have already stopped supporting the athletic program….let’s see what the attendance is Saturday…pretty sure that will show people have stopped coming to games. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Sorry man. Than doesn’t work anymore. This “ask what you can do for your school” crap is done. Did it for too long. Wren Baker makes a LOT of money. The ball is in his court. You want me giving money and buying tickets? Fix the program. That’s Wren Baker’s job. It’s not my job. I’ll come back when I think 3/4 of a million dollar per year AD has done his job. This isn’t a charity. My love is conditional now. He’s not doing this for fun…it’s his job. Remember the guy that’s in charge of the department that led that shit show that was the game experience and on field product is the same guy that lectures fans when they don’t show up. Sorry. Doesn’t fly anymore. Fix it or they need to get someone in here that will. Pretty simple.

My friend did make fun of me. Until we started 4-0, beat Arkansas and got a few top 25 votes. Then he even went to the La Tech game with me. He was amazed at the atmosphere. Then we blew that game. And he hasn’t been back.

We really have to hope that WB repeats the basketball hire with this football hire. If our next football coach is a flop….I don’t know what we’re going to do. We have 21 losing seasons in our last 27. While constantly being in the worst conferences in the country. At some point….we have to take an objective look at our program and ask if it’s smart to keep throwing money at it….

History shows Littrell will blow them out. The attendance on the other hand… I was going to take my kids but I’m not driving 1-1.5 hours to fight through all that crap.

That tweet isn’t SMU’s fault. It’s Seth Littrell’s fault. We get crapped on like that because of the team and performance he put in the field. Littrell makes it easy for SMU to slap us around. “Just that team from Denton” is too good for this team. I thought it could’ve been waaay worse.
