That’s a shot at North Texas. I’m guessing he’s another one pissed that we fired Littrell. It’s amazing how many out there have such a low opinion of UNT. “You should never expect anything better then .500 how dare you think you can do better” It’s a major insult.

I’ve been saying this needed to happen….but I’m not going to jump up and down and celebrate. I’ve always said I seriously liked Littrell personally. He got us out of the mess we were in. He showed us what our potential is, he just couldn’t get us to the next level. He is an honorable man, ran a clean program, and our players were true student athletes. I honestly wish he COULD have got us to the next level. But at the end of the day, he just couldn’t. I hope he finds success and I think he’ll have no problem getting a good job somewhere. The really good part about this though is the administration has decided to raise the bar and just being better than we always have been is not good enough anymore.

The Cotton Bowl is in Arlington. The National Championship game is in Inglewood. The Fiesta Bowl is in Glendale. So using your logic, the Sugar Bowl and Peach Bowl are the only real bowls. They’re in the Urban Centers. The Birmingham Bowl is better than the Cotton Bowl.

What are we waiting on?

I don’t WANT anything….he can do what he wants. I still say most of his readership comes from people on that board. He can choose how he interacts with them

So he uses the board and posts his articles here because he gets a lot of readership out of it….but he doesn’t interact with his most loyal “customers” 🤷🏼‍♂️

There’s a coach that was brought up a while back. He had great G5 success. Now that you look back at his P5 experience….he actually ended up being better that thought when he got let go, especially seeing that he didn’t get the recruits that the current guy gets. He knows Texas. Runs a high powered offense. What is Kevin Sumlin doing? I’m still intrigued by him. Pluses? Minuses?

What makes Seth a “very good coach?”

Nothing really spectacular in the 6 years Fritz had been there. 2-10 last year. Now all the sudden he beat the big 12 champion on the road and is going to the Cotton Bowl. What is the difference between last season and this season?

Did you see our butts in seats this season? Homecoming? That’s what happens. And it will get worse if they don’t make a change

Good point…. But he will have to replenish with his recruits here pretty soon. This is year 3 for him? not saying he won’t but…..we could have the same situation here. A good coach comes in and develops what’s (on paper) supposedly a talented, young roster Get a good transfer QB in here and we can turn this around fairly quickly….

If you asked the majority of people at ESPN about the “fake fair catch” they’ll know about NT. Just a few years ago we were the darlings of ESPN just for that one play. Someone’s doing that on purpose. You can’t even be lazy and say “Golden Eagles”. That in Itself takes effort.

If 6-6 is just awesome then sure that’s a lot better than 3-9. How much should we pay a head coach that takes us to such heights?

We’ve been about .500 since then so we really haven’t made much of a dent in that record…. But I mean I guess we haven’t gotten worse than 22-73 so I guess it’s like a win.

I support that
