Yeah but every pitcher on our roster with the exception of Eovaldi will be available for game 7. Wouldn't be surprised to see Montgomery pitch tonight at some point....

Our defense played better yesterday....but we still gave up 35 points to a team that isn't exactly explosive and despite the way we played in the 2nd half; when the game was on the line tied 28-28....Tulane's last drive was pretty easy. We left the middle of the field wide open that entire drive....and Tulane took advantage of it and just took the ball down and scored the go ahead TD. Pretty easy drive there. I'm not poopooing the performance...it was better but have to keep in mind that's a pretty low bar to improve on. I loved the heart the kids showed in the 2nd half. But overall, our defense is still bad and the DC is responsible. Maybe we can take the positive momentum (which I would say we DO have) and see what happens next week. At the very least, I would say Morris may have started turning a corner in the 2nd half regarding buy in. In my mind, that onside kick was a message to his team, "we're not here for moral victories, we're here to win games." Huge message there. Tulane is probably the best team left on our schedule, so at the very least, hopefully the team sees they can compete with the rest of the schedule.

Deciding to run a kickoff back out of the end zone is like someone pulling out in front of me in traffic…..if you’re gonna do it fine, but you better hit the gas.

Looking at the results so far....geez, Navy and FIU were so winnable. This should be 5-1 vs 5-1. Probably be a little hype around it. But I don't see us +20 like the spread shows. Tulane hasn't blown anyone out except for Nichols. I'm not saying we'll win but we have a chance if we put it all together. Need a couple of breaks and we need last week's first half Chandler Rogers for 2 halves this week. I can see something along the lines of: Tulane 45 UNT 34 I think we beat the spread

Headed to Arlington for game 3. Rangers home record: 50-31 Astros road record: 51-30

This offense with Rogers is good enough to challenge in this conference. But with this defense we’ll never get a chance to see that happen.

Feels like this is heading toward a GoMeanGreen Texas Civil War. I know that there are Astros fans here.... Difference between now and when the Astros swept us late in the year is we're healthy now and look to be getting Scherzer and Gray back.... Scherzer, Eovaldi, Montgomery, Gray in a 7 game series.... Dunning, Heaney, Perez..... Deep starting pitching.... Lineup is 100% healthy and they've added Evan Carter. Should be an awesome series.
