UAB got some momentum back at the end of the half. We were really sloppy with the ball last few possessions

It has to be maddening to play a team like us with our defensive game and offensive pace and we hit a shot with 1 second on the shot clock. love to see it. Would hate to play against it

Didn’t realize how good UAB has been in Denton. I believe the Road team has won the last 9 in the series and UAB is 5-1 In their last 6 games at the Pit. no let down tonight.

If we could pick how a first half would go defensively….thats what we would’ve picked. gotta do it for 20 more minutes.

Have to keep forcing our pace. Squeeze the life out of every possession. Theyre going to make little runs. Have to not let them extend them.

The only thing more embarrassing about asking if we should storm the court for SMU is actually storming the court for SMU. Yikes -
Don’t misunderstand anything about my post…..we get to play the game at the Super Pit where we are VERY hard to beat. Fill that place up and it’s even harder. On Paper, SMU should win. But the game isn’t played on paper. It’s going to be played at the pit. This is going to be fun….we have to be locked in and if we are we will win
