8 games in with a whole new team? How could anyone tell? at this point in the season? I would think we might have a better idea. Maybe not?

Iowa St is ranked #3 in the country. That horrible loss may drop them all the way to #10 in the country. they can afford that loss. they will be ranked really high in the tourney.

So? What does that mean for us? How many at larges will the Big 12 have? AAC doesn’t have that luxury. I’m sure ISU will be fine.

Are we not allowed to criticize this game? And how UTSA came in here and outplayed us? This game will have consequences. this is a horrible loss. Ross Hodge got out coached and his players got out played in this game. Doesn’t mean he’s a bad coach. But this game when you’re trying to make a national statement is BAD. Are we not allowed to say that? how can anyone defend this game?

Beat a horrible team at home when you’re favored by 14.5 doesn’t seem too high. Let’s start there.

Didn’t want to start another NIL thread. but here’s some insight from our conference:

“kids” kids are 10 years old not the same age as their peers going to war THIS IS WHAT THEY WANTED They had this little protective blanketed world that evidently sucked for them. They wanted to be paid! I’m all about it. But don’t whine about the world turning into what they wanted. Want to be a free agent and get that bag? You gotta deal with this. If you don’t want to be taken advantage of…. Be smarter. I don’t know what to tell you. These agents aren’t doing anything illegal. we seem to want it to both ways. Why are we treating all of these 19-20 year old ADULTS like little babies. Go get paid! I’m all about it. I really am. I think they should get paid. But What are we supposed to do? Put more rules in? They didn’t like the rules. The rules were oppressive. Holding them back. So put your big boy pants on and tell these snakes to F off. Protect yourself. You’re on your own now. Act like it. You know how agents stop charging 20%? When there’s no demand for their services. Until then…..

I used to think that all things equal, we would be on SMU's level....but everything changed when money could buy success. And they have the money. Pretty simple. They got a few rich people that can put them on par with big programs. We don't. In today's world, there is an amount of money that can overcome all the substance that it used to take. We need to move on... Let them buy it all. SMU fans posting on here....move on man. We can't hang. That's fine.
