  1. It really is pathetic that Mac came out of camp with no QB, no toughness, and WAY too much talk. ...and RV enters this season with no OOC homer next season. We look like a bunch of ass clowns and the buck stops with the head coach and athletic director. IT'S TIME!
  2. I've mentioned this before, but Mac didn't come out of camp with a prepared team! Period. That includes knowing which players can play and which coaches can coach. It has been pathetic, especially coming off the bowl win. ...but maybe next year...
  3. No. If an SEC team's only loss is to a top 25 team, they would get into the playoffs way before marshall
  4. This is, by far, the best! DFW! The Metro! Ha!
  5. I'd go with Lane Kiffin...or Tom Herman
  6. Well, 21k+ is a great crowd for a UNT game and I'll verify that current students identify the name SMU and give at least 2 cramps about UNT playing them...the same goes for LaTech, Texas, Southern Miss. However, they have no idea who FIU, FAU, Nichols St, etc. are, nor give 2 cramps. So yes, scheduling, conference, winning issues but none of that revolves around SMU. Great to have them on the schedule and great to whip their ass.
  7. Oh....I see how that could have been read that way. No, I don't know about all of that...I just know he didn't step up...in camp. I have no idea how he is as a father, although I can give him a few pointers (tips, not bird dogs) if needed.
  8. I really don't think many of them buy groceries. I didn't.
  9. I haven't been in there since college...is it that much cheaper?
  10. The following..you did read it right? So, DW didn't produce during camp and becoming a father (I didn't know if he was married or had a girlfriend; hence, "mate") put him further behind. So, the point being he didn't produce during camp to the point that they didn't play him in scrimmages and Mac had taken him out of the competition....until Greer struggled in the first couple of games...then he was forced, basically, to give him another try. You read the same thing right?
  11. We are not very good at promotion which is ironic since RV was the originator of UNT promotion...err uh...North Texas promotion...giving out free t-shirts and such. Recently, not alot and pretty lame season opening events except for the upper crust. I'm with you...make it exciting, promote huge, and we will pack the house.
  12. yeah....i don't know man. We are headed out of a bad camp with a poor offense and changing quarterbacks. I don't think tomorrow really tells us anything...unless we lose...then we will know a lot. I think by the time October 12th rolls around we will know a lot more.
  13. The idea, as I understand it, will be to have an area much like Fry/A and also have a grand entrance their. So, lots of UNT signage, green lights to greatness, and young oriented businesses.
  14. Of course, lucky. What's your question?
  15. Agreed. I think we are headed in the right direction with this...if we can pay for it.
  16. I sure hope so. I hope it's 52-0. I put that score simply because I think Mac and Chico will freak out some.
  17. That's what I think, too. He may have a lawsuit coming and is, oddly, trying to look like a one-time cheater, family man type. Like the preacher guy that said he just sniffed it a few times and didn't hit it....
  18. Indeed! With our quarterback situation and our "above the rest for thousands less"....SACK and SAVE was hitting a little too close to home. Let's spruce up that entrance fast!
  19. Let's just hope he starts kicking ass!
  20. A win, of any score, would be great. Really. We need a simple win, a big win would be better, but we simply need a win.
  21. Great information...sort of a boring talk. He did mention he wants to become Tier 1 and has already formed teams with VP's heading them with a feasable plan...first time in while action has really been taken in this direction. He also said the physical appearence and overall perception of UNT is one he would like to improve. So, no longer should we brag about being the 3rd largest school in Texas or just a good music school. We could simply say we are from UNT and people would know it is bad ass. Good stuff...
