  1. I think "CUSA Powers" is an oxymoron, no?
  2. Not a bad prediction. I think, on average, we have about a 17% chance to win.
  3. I think we will let it fly: UNT 24 Marshall 38
  4. I think UTEP is our best bet to get one more. Massey says 38% chance, down from 42% last week. http://www.masseyratings.com/team.php?t=5584&s=286577
  5. My wife was perplexed that Les Miles was fired from LSU. We looked up his record and he hasn't won less than 8 games since 2002, has gone to a bowl game each year since 2002, and has taken his team to 2 national championships, winning one, since 2002. 14 winning seasons in the last 14 years. "Why the HELL was he fired?" she asked. "UNT would be all OVER that dude, right?" she asked. Yes, dear, we would. We've only had 4 winning seasons and 4 bowl games in the last 14 years. "Oh to be mediocre", I said. "Mediocre?" She asked. What makes you think 4-10 in the last 14 years is mediocre?" ...she has a good point. I mention all this to say I hope that Smatz and TheWren will FINALLY change the mindset of "mediocrity" around here. We must do better and I think we will do better. I hope it starts with the MUTS game on Saturday. Seth has this team grinding it out. Let's #hit3 with a win.
  6. Fantastic win! This should change the future percentages too. Littrell has this team grinding it out...something we have been missing in previous years and something the computers can't predict! GMG!!!!!!
  7. Great win!
  8. True Grit!
  9. I think we will know a lot more about how this team responds with Littrell at the helm after tonight. I hope he has them fired up and foaming at the mouth.
  10. The Massey Composite has us ranked 126th out of 128 ( http://www.masseyratings.com/cf/compare.htm). As a further hit to the sack, the predictions have us nowhere close to winning another game (http://www.masseyratings.com/team.php?t=5584&s=286577 ). Fuuuuuuu.....
  11. Great sign if he stays committed. Could contribute to a bright future.
  12. We should do white on green, green on white, and that's it. I don't like the green on green and white on white. It's over powering. It's not a damned fashion show either. Let's play some f^king football.
  13. UNT 13 Rice 24. I hope it's the opposite.
  14. Fine seems, well fine, and it's hard to believe we didn't come out of camp with a solid QB.
  15. 13-12 Mean Green
  16. I really do think his first tasks are to get a G5 structure that fits our needs, fix basketball, and recruit more boosters. Baseball is next with winning an understood task on the coaches.
  17. Fantastic news and I've heard nothing but great things about Wren and this transition. Go Mean Green!
  18. We came in quick on WB. Mizery had him in the mix but wasn't ready to pull the trigger. They have an image problem right now, much like us, where they need to assure the masses they are doing the right thing. It would be similar to UNT offering a young and upcoming asst AD on staff the job because he was offered a position elsewhere (although we didn't really have one). We wouldn't have liked it. I'm excited about our future and hopefully he can right the ship.
