Great to see all the coaches in Houston. Litrell, Harrell, Konz, Yelloch, Biagi and Filani were there. Talked to most of them. Don't know if this is new or not. Littrell sounded like WR T. Wilson has grade issues and not only will have a hard time making it back to the team but staying in school. He said biggest issue is the OL and said they are getting a couple of grad transfers. Harrell said Cade Pearson has a lot of talent but right now the kid's head is spinning and half the time doesn't know what's going on. Give him time. As for Devin Isadore he didn't seem to optimistic in him catching up and being a challenge for playing time. Harrell raved about Shanbour! He embodies everything they are looking for in a player. He's an all in type player. Filani really likes his WR's ideally they would like to redshirt the incoming Freshmen WR's. I asked Yelloch about English and says he has some growing up to do and is hard on him pushing him to be the best he can be. He said he wants all his DL to be interchangeable across the line no one at a set position all the time. Hope this was informational to everyone. Really hope this becomes an annual stop here in Houston.

Looking to go to the one here in Houston. What can I expect at the event? Do you get to meet the coaches?

Eric Jenkins looked really good at corner. He has really been special since coming in last year. He keeps it up and McClain might not be the only one the the pro scouts are looking at! Garner is a favorite of mine(after McClain) This kid is all over the place getting sacks, deflecting passes in coverage dancing on the sideline pumping up the defense. I thought he should have started over Scott last year. He is fun to watch out there. This OL is going to get the quarterback killed, the running backs killed, Littrell killed even the waterboy killed! Pretty pathetic effort by all of them. I pray the newcomers coming in the Fall help immediately! Don't know what to make out of Chumley. Looks like a big stiff out there but on shear height he might be able to make plays. I really like K. Smith I don't know why he isn't used more? Didn't we recruit a JUCO Punter? Patterson WITH the big wind was only hitting it 40 yards with not much hang time.

I like this kids highlights! Like him as a tight end. Has good ups and runs a 4.8! Like a Kelvin Smith guy.

Just got back from game and want to second the previous posters. The UNT turnout was awesome! I was so proud! I thought we had more than them but who knows. Sat with Hambone's family and had a blast! I am so emotionally drained right now. So happy for the team. They really seemed to feed off our crowd! Gunter's injury looked really bad. Had an iced knee and they were checking the ankle too. Sorry to see that. The little guy Mason sure is a tough little son of a gun! Huge heart! Fearless! We found a long ball game! Robinson had a beautiful catch down the sideline. Thought no chance he catches that then bam he does! Wilson was banged up and really wanted to finish but wasn't looking real good. I will have a big smile on my face for a week!

With it being in my backyard and the Texans not playing for once I will be there! Taking the girlfriend for her first mean green experience and hitting up the tailgate! Pumped for Saturday baby!

Thanks for all the help guys! Loved Craig Jones but KiShawn McClain has been my favorite player since last year! Love this kid! Can't wait for Saturday!

Looking for any advice for Gameday Saturday. Going to my first game at Apogee. Any tailgate recommendations to go to? Parking? How early should you arrive? What's the traffic like before and after the game? stuff like that. Thanks! GMG!

Well I went to my first Spring Game drove up from Houston and it was well worth it. I hadn't been back to campus for 19 years and was impressed with the new stadium! I met Jeffrey Wilson's Dad and watched the game with him and his family. Very nice man! Said Jeffrey loves UNT and the new staff. Don't know if this is old news but he said that Willie Ivery is dealing with grade issues and hopefully will be ok for the Fall. Is it me or does Shanbour remind you of a poor man's Major Applewhite? Undersized gutsy kid. I just worry about the poor kid getting killed out there! I like what I saw out of him. Tee Goree looked like a number one receiver! After that um not that much. The walk on WR Prater has some potential there. run after the catch on his TD was nice! Walk on Connor Davis had some nice plays. Looks like Kenny Buyers still has some work to do at WR but there is something there to work with. Kelvin Smith showed me something after a tough miss down the middle early came back with two stellar TD grabs. The one over the defenders helmet was OUTSTANDING! The OL is definitely a work in progress. Murray needs to sit just not quick enough yet. Chumley is not a QB. Not good at all. Mason Fine hasn't put a foot on campus yet and I list him at #3 already. When the QB had time the long touchdown pass to Rutherford was good to see! On Defense Joseph Ozougwu really got my attention! Nice pass rush ability from the outside. OT's could not stay with the kid. Now when he twisted to the inside on stunts got jammed up due to his slight frame. But he was exciting to watch! Courtney Finney looked good on the pass rush and in coverage. Fred Scott had a nice game in the middle hit it up the middle in run support and had a nice tipped pass in coverage. Kishawn McClain was his usual awesome self. As we all are saying the lack of depth is VERY noticable. Just grin and bare it and know more is on the way. Will take some time. Did you see Andy Flusche take a fake selfie with another defender after his sack? I had a chuckle when I saw that but please don't do that in a real game! For those who want to know, those that did not dress were Jarrian Roberts(still on crutches and boot), Brandon Garner was in a boot, Daniel Kahn right elbow brace, Fernandez, Munden, Wells were all out as well

Going to my first Spring game ever! And first experience in the new stadium! Driving up from Houston! What can I expect at the game? Garage sale? Are former players there to meet? should I bring my own roster or do they hand them out? any other advice for game day?
