No science here, just observation: Late in the game after he got injured at WichSt, coming out of a time out, he limped back to the bench, full weight on one leg and walking on his toes (like a tippy toe) on the bad leg. Seems to be a pretty serious hamstring pull. Info you don't need to know: my worst hamstring pull was running my first half marathon (Cowtown). The UNTHSC staff that manned the medical tent said it would be at least three weeks to recover. It was four or five for this non-athlete. GMG

F$U is getting the $MU treatment from the NCAA (hitting the less relevant school with a violation every big school is doing), just by being associated with, or for trying to escape association with, $MU. GMG

Not to be flippant, and I feel like I am in the top 10% of passionate amongst all NT fans, but man, I can't worry about this crap right now. Or at least it didn't make the Top 25 of things I could worry about. I gave up worry for Lent a few years back and try to keep my head down, keep moving forward and let things play out just as they would whether I worry or not. Do your best, control what you can and read about the rest in the papers. GMG

Wasnt that amazing? Great game experience for fans. The arena feels smaller but the fans brought the energy, making more noise when they got a 3 to bring it to 11 (losing) than we do when we make a three to bring it to 11 (winning). Good fans too. Said we were worthy of the NIT champ and the league, knew about our shared MVC past, etc. GMG

I say North Texas except when I am lazy. Then I abbreviate what I call it: NT. GMG

G5 should set its playoff program in motion. G5 will be the minor league program and its players will aspire to get to the Bigs. Its basically that way now, but formalize it. And G5 teams should contract with Bigs to help subsidize (including a minor NIL program) their feeder programs, i.e. we get separate contracts with 5-10 Bigs and we coordinate interactions between our players and those teams. Bigs would be incentivized to make it as nice as possible for future prospects. Lots of other ways we could duplicate a baseball-like major and minor league relationship. GMG

We have some of our best production in front of the smallest crowds. And it is a NT tradition to have its smallest crowd the last game of the year. But some of my favorite games have been the season finales. For the Seniors, lets be different and do a game 1 Senior Day. GMG

Some of our regulars can't make it but we have some to fill in. Guessing 14 for the pre-game. I suspect the club buffet will be rocking for this game. GMG
