  1. Ironic that the only reason I may tune in the Olympics is to see the Mexican and Columbian golf teams. GMG
  2. Million dollar smile. Nice to see swag without shoe logos on it. GMG
  3. I love watching morning golf! And it was really fun watching Munoz last week, when they were isolating shots, with slow-mo and commentary. I think that was Saturday. GMG
  4. Thanks. Because being -4 and in 40th is a lot better than being +4 and in 40th. Kidding. He finished at -3, currently T46. GMG
  5. If they are available and you need a “sponsor,” let me know. You pay and I’ll buy. GMG
  6. I smile every time I get to see Gray Eagle. In-person or reading his posts. GMG
  7. Praying for all the strength you need to fight this, and all the comfort your family needs to support you. GMG
  8. In my mind, Jim Hobdy is a HOFer. Agree with Jimmy P. Very creative, talented, ethical, thoughtful, generous and always defended the turf when things were tough around the office. Jim is a gift and a blessing. HBD, brother Jim. GMG
  9. Looks like both Tan and Ricaud carded "EAGLES" on hole 4. Omen, I hope. Currently up by 7. GMG
  10. Really enjoyed this season. Only made one game live, but kept my eyes on the intra-game stats all season. Stomach ached through two games yesterday, all via the stats. Maybe it is selective memory, but it seems like the offense wasn’t as strong as prior seasons this year. We have had good pitching many seasons but we also scored enough runs in many of those games to take the pressure off. I think we had a favorable schedule and excellent pitching this season, and a lot of young players got great experience. We will be better next year....and that is off perhaps the programs best year. 11. Well done, men. Great work. GMG
  12. Recently de-committed from TCU. https://www.frogsowar.com/2021/2/3/22262125/national-signing-day-frogs-complete-the-class-of-2021 Additionally, the Horned Frogs seem to have secured some intriguing Preferred Walk-Ons, led by local linebacker Sam Forman of Aledo, an All District and All Country player in 2020. Another one of the state’s best linebackers, Grady Brewer — whose 172 tackles led 6A in Texas — has also signed on, as have Choctaw defensive lineman Donnie Wingate, Round Rock defensive end Luke Dodds, and Richardson tight end Dylan Adams, who at 6’5”, 235, has potential to move to the line on offense or defense. 13. Passionate fandom from recent alums is always welcome to see. You are the future, WE. GMG
  14. Thought that was the video for “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” GMG
  15. It is bizarre for its humble nature. It is a pretty good reaction to beating an overmatched opponent. Almost sports(wo)man-like. And it is one reason I really enjoy the ladies sports at NT. Very proud of and for this team and its coaches. GMG
  16. Joining the team in the Fall of 2021, yes? GMG
  17. A buddy of mine in Florida who played baseball at Alabama and has no ties to NT other than he knows I love the Mean Green, is in the early stages of his fight with ALS. He has texted me twice in the past month or so. One was a "how about the Mean Green" text with a pic of Hamlet after the Purdue win. The other was the ESPN story of Hope Trautwein's perfect game. His comment: "A record that can only be tied, at best." Supporting college sports matters. GMG
  18. Yes. Club pass came via email. PM me if anyone can use it (I am out of town). GMG
  19. I graduated from NT's J-school. It was very counterintuitive for me to give up on the daily newspaper. Events over the past few years made me realize there are 1000's of sources of news. I have found a number that I trust and enjoy reading. Still take the DRC pamphlet they send out once a week, because Denton news is not as easy to get elsewhere. It will be the next to go though. I don't miss the DMN either. I am finding I don't miss lots of things I used to watch, buy or participate in regularly. GMG
  20. Turned south fast. $MU is the class of the field, taking a 16 stroke lead. NT has fallen back to +8, second and one up on UTSA. Team is on holes 12-14. Our number 3 player (Gopal) is T2 at -1. GMG
  21. Off to a good start this morning. -4 through holes 3-5. Now one back of SMU. GMG
  22. Rice > OU GMG
