  1. North Texas athletics so far this season: YARN - Shit. - Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) - Video clips by quotes - 2815abc3 - 紗.url GMG
  2. Agree. For the most part, I have fun when the games don't matter too. But my getting ready for church mood the next morning is better when they matter, and when we take advantage. GMG
  3. I will say this for Wren: he was walking around the parking lot a couple of hours before the game stopping in to say hi to the various tailgating groups. We chatted for a few minutes and I got a picture with him. I think he knew my face, not my name. I think the last AD that knew my face and my name was Fred McCain. GMG
  4. I provided pictures to my ticket guy. I recommended shutting down the scoreboard if that is what they are going to show. He acknowledged it was a big diss to the players, as well as the fans. They showed the same stats for at least a quarter without any change to any of the players stats. With 10:27 left in the game, Kevin Wood lead the team with 8 tackles, though Brett Vito reported he would not play today. KD, Aune and Novil were tied with 7 tackles. KD actually DID have 7 tackles for the entire game. And my pictures were taken after I noticed this earlier in the game so I am not confident our scoreboard masters intended to be accurate on that one. Aune did not play defense. I missed the 7 tackles he had while on offense. Gaddie, the #2 that plays on defense, had 3 tackles per my stat source. Novil is not playing for NT this season, as I understand. Gabriel Murphy continues to make an impact with 6 tackles, though UCLA only credited him for 3 tackles. I will leave it to Malonish to verify the $MU stats but the full game stats showed not one of the well paid got more than 8 tackles. But GMG
  5. There will be no blue or red foods or containers at today’s tailgate. GMG
  6. Not sure I understand the question but I think the answer is: Join, eat, pay for your booze. (not sure you can join there, but I would bet yes. May want to join online though) If you are a member, move directly to step two. They usually have some live music and always have the TVs playing games in the background. Did that answer the question? GMG
  7. Caveat: I don't know soccer. OU got its first win (2 losses and a tie) last night but it seemed they were the better team. More physical, faster. They lost their footing on the wet field several times in the first half that helped us. We played well and with heart and looked much more comfortable in the second half. Calls evened out in the second half but refs hurt us a bit in the first. Appeared our foot work controlling the ball was better and more creative, but there were times a single Sooner would move the ball up the field without enough resistance to feel compelled to pass (wish I knew how to say that better). Nice crowd, but the youth teams were the loudest. Well, except for the one guy that was yelling at the refs! GMG
  8. Out of curiosity, have the "tickets left" views ever been accurate? GMG
  9. Thanks RCade. I appreciate your tribute and wish I knew Brett. Thanks to Harry also. This is a community, filled with many different life experiences that shape the way we see things. But every time I read one of these posts, I really wish I knew those passed, and those with us still, better. Peace and comfort to those that knew and loved Brett. GMG
  10. Not sure I agree with the post, but if so, you can start the debate again next Monday. #Beat$MU GMG
  11. Got it. I missed it being reported elsewhere but I didn’t see the game. GMG
  12. Plumms, Per Vito: Dorian Morris as well as newcomers Latrell Neville and Jordan Smart are also out. GMG
  13. The DRC had it as breaking news we before the game that he wasn’t playing, along with three other WRs. (I didn’t have internet where I was so I actually saw it this morning) GMG
  14. As a public service: 9 pm EST and 6 pm PST GMG
  15. She scored all three in the second half, and then sat out about the last 20 minutes. GMG
  16. They can only buy 25-30 players a year. GMG
  17. I saw a Gunnell series, then Ruder drive back to back late in the scrimmage. I think the play was already discussed, but Ruder threw what i am guessing was a 40-yard pass as part of the drive that was caught in stride along the sideline. Bad eyes looking into the sun and no roster, so I am not sure who caught it. My guess is he is third or fourth on the depth list, but that drive was engineered nicely. GMG
  18. Listen to its jazz format online for now. But HD radio allows stations to use their frequency for more than one channel, i.e 88.1 could do "indie" rock on HD1 and Jazz on HD2. https://hdradio.com/stations/ Also, KNTU on the TuneIn app is still playing jazz. GMG
  19. Per NT Daily, you can listen to KNTU Jazz on kntu.com 24/7. Eventually it will be on KNTU 88.1 HD2. https://www.ntdaily.com/jazz-to-return-to-kntu-radio/ GMG
  20. This ginger says Mary Ann. GMG
  21. Why aren't we doing the same in Thackerville? GMG
  22. I think they know LIV can't fund out like it is forever and that the reason LIV happened is because of the monopoly the PGA has with little room for player input. GMG
  23. Are there "DJ's" at KNTU? I just thought it was all computer programmed, because I rarely hear humans other than promos. I recall the days when there were different genres of music during the week. There may be a reggae block for a few hours on Sunday, new wave (George Gimarc, for instance), etc. Lots of jazz but other things, and humans with personalities and musical tastes they knew something about when they programmed the shows. Why not do that? GMG
