Coach Dodge was at the first half of the basketball game with his son Riley and Daughter. He enjoyed talking to everyone who stopped to say hello. Truely a class act! The Press Conference production was outstanding. Even flyers on the glass doors saying Please Come Back as everyone left. Coach Dodge said at the outset of the Press Conference he had not talked yet to any players. But, started out...by looking directly at them...and saying basically they were what all this is about. Coach Dodge was classy all the way through. I have seen estimates of people...but, I would put it closer to 200. It was packed! From the fight song playing as they entered...to the comments during the Conference, it was all first class indeed! It's time to UNITE! Do you believe in the Mean Green? Hell (in a biblical sense) Yes!

Seriously, best hire in Mean Green sports history. Way to go Rick!

The apparent hiring of Todd Dodge will go down as the biggest hire in Mean Green history. I believe it will even mean more than the hiring of legendary coach Hayden Fry. While, I was in the minority of GoMeanFans in the firing of Coach Dickey, I ask us all to UNITE and celebrate this exciting news! The DFW Metroplex recruiting efforts will certainly be BRIGHT!!!!! And, their are 4 SLC Carroll players in the area Top 100 who are undecided. Ya think that undecided may change in the next day or two. Anyway, let's UNITE and celebrate the naming of our new football Coach! In case you see all the traffice headed to Denton. It's the Press headed to the land of Mean Green football..... the players from DFW will be next.
