I don't think Chris Hurd is 6'1. I'm sorry to disagree Insurance Pro, but Coach Dodge knows players. I don't think Coach Dodge is going to recruit those who he doesn't believe in his heart can help the Mean Green. I believe Padron's going to surprize ya! I put my trust in Coach Dodge. Talent is more than stats! The excitement is building... Sure appreciate your opinion....but, I believe time will show ParksAndRecRick right on this one! One thing we BOTH can say... GO MEAN GREEN!!! DUCK...the time is now!

FFR, I will agree with you that the Offensive Game Plan seemed way to conservative. We had a NFL team playing with "walk-ons" and we didn't take advantage of that. That game should not have to come down to that play. And, with the Post about "Romo not running", you were right. The Middle was wide open all night. That is Coach Parcells getting to Romo. I'm sorry, but I don't know the last time that I have felt so bad for a player. I know you can't compare Romo with Favre. But, I do enjoy Romos free spirit attitude. If you harness that too much...you will get more undecisions and lost that spirit. FFR...ParksAndRecRick agrees with you on this one. The Conservative Game Plan cost the Cowboys that game!

Have some faith in Coach Dodge!!!!! He understands what it takes to win at this level...both in assembling a Staff and assembling a Team! Heck, ain't it GRAND just to be getting some players from DFW!!!!! Dodge Ball...the bandwagon is beginnning to roll!!!!

Note: Chris Hurd was a walk-on at North Texas. Padron will be a STAR at UNT! Brad Kasell, Cody Spencer, Chris Hud, Casey Taylor, what a foursome. I really believe Padron will be in that class before he departs from the Mean Green Nation! I agree with Emmitt.... Don't worry about SMU and TCU's thoughs! Dodge Ball...they are beginning to duck!!!!

Coach Dodge has said he hopes to complete the football coaching staff by Thursday of this week. Lots of speculaiton! He has done a GRAND job keeping the news quiet. Should be lots of fun in the next few days as the news is released! What say you?

And, Lumber Tycon Brad Olson will go another year without a speeding tickets. That is truely amazing! He is my hero....

No doubt that 2007 will be an exciting time for the Mean Green Nation. What are you must excited about.... One of the things that gets me pumped is having all of us together again. It has been atleast three years since the Mean Green Nation has been one....and that gets me fired up! Johnny's Mean Green cagers are going to be a there all the way to the end. And, next year looks even brighter. The upcoming football recruiting will bring some nice surprizes and Spring football will truely be an event that we all need to attend. The football stadium may get a big boost in 2007 as Rick V and his staff continue to move forward. Record crowds will turn out at Fouts. Traditions... Rick V has always been big with "traditions". Coach Dodge also embraces that belief. I think it is important to have record turnouts at "our traditions". And, the excitmeent will continue to help us build new ones.... The Mean Green nation will rise...as all the positive publicity will see attendence at UNT soar to a record high next spring. Mean Green soccer will continue their rise to national prominence. Softball, swimming, golf, and tennis will make GRAND strides to the top of the SunBelt conference. Rick V. will announce record donations to the Mean Green Club in 2007. Plumm will continue to break records with his positive lenghtly and fun posts. FFR will save even more lives...and continue to be one of the MeanGreenNations inspirational leaders. Emmitt will get 20 people for his tailgate party on January 11. GreenGrenadeII will purchase the extra 2 football season tickets and increase his MeanGreen Club donation by $500 as promised. The Mean Green will generate more POSIVIE publicity in 2007 than ever before in UNT history. Our new football uniforms will be awesome. Smitty will become a national helmet desgner after his new UNT helmet is unveiled. Adlers older daughter becomes the youngest cheerleader in UNT history. ParksAndRecRick will lost 100 pounds by football opener at Oklahoma. And, here's wishing each of you a GRAND New Year...and may the GREEN burn bright throughout 2007. ParksAndRecRick
