Green ot the Bone alluded to it in his post...but, their supposedly big time Coach had some not too impressive comments about Coach Dodge. Stuff like, "I never heard of him." And, "who is he with". I would say that is probably the only Division I Coach who could say that. I truely believe after the game....He will know who Coach Dodge is!!!!!!! C'mon Mean Green Nation. I believe we should celebrate "Dodge Ball" in week two. It was not only resiant....exciting....record setting. I know we didn't win. I not hear to bash. But, when is the last time that a crowd stood and clapped for our team when we lost! I am so pumped...I can't wait for two weeks. EVERYONE is going to get better and better.... ParksAndRecRick

This is after "two games into the journey". The defense will get better. Some great hits. Some wonderful fans! All after TWO games! I am very proud tonight. Yes, we are 0-2...but, I'm not sure our future ever looked brighter! Great job Mean Green Fans and Band and Players. I was on the 7th row...and we must have the hardest working coaches I have ever seen during the game. Wow! I can't wait for 14 days are our home opener!!!!! One word: Wow! Maybe the second biggest upset of the day could have happened in Austin. Arkansas State actually recovered an on-side kick with 56 seconds left in Austin. Big 12 officals called Arkansas State yesterday and admitted they were wrong and the ball should have been given to Arkansas State. Instead the ball was given to Texas and they ran out the clock. Obviously, it is nice to see an error admitted. But, again you have to wonder about the protection of the Big 12 teams against non-conference teams while playing in Big 12 stadiums. Arkansas State played a GRAND game...and the Sun Belt really needs a Big Win like that. We all know how the Sun Belt is improving...but, it is going to take some major upsets for us to show the world. Sorry A-State! GRAND effort. I would have loved to see what you would have done in the last 56 seconds. Just coming off a touchdown and with momentum on your side....it could have been the second MAJOR upset of the day.
