Agree! I think it was a combo of our players playing very lethargic & the ASU coaches making some changes after the half. But hey , I guess thats been the story for a year and half. What gets me the most , is in the past 2 seasons , in the very,very weak SBC. I feel that UNT has had the best RB and WR in the whole conference.. yet we cant put up jack crap on anyone in the league. Maybe im bias on JMo & JQ , but Id argue with anyone that these are 2 of the best at their postion in the Sun Belt.

I thought maybe La Tech was a winnable game , but I see they've put up 48 on Utah St. Dang there coaches must of made some adjustments. Go Figure!!! On a brighter note , I thought JaMario looked pretty good 2nite , if only we had Euless Trinity's OL he could of broken 200yds!

Next game im watchin over the high 5 with my portable TV so I can jump!!!

Things Ill never understand. DEF: Our corners continue to play 10yds off almost every down. Our Defense seems to forget after halftime how to tackle with both arms. OFF : We run very few run plays to the outside. Def Line can get closer to our RB more times than before our QB does. We continue to throw the ball no more than 3yds deep to the sidelines. We can only show signs of life after our opponent has blown us out and goes soft or has their JV squad in. Defenses have gotten the memo : play NT WR's tight , put 8 men in the box.... Game over b/c NT coaches have never heard the terms " adjust " or " off balance " Coahing Staffs : Seems no matter who is our coach , I hardly ever see a great deal of emotion or interaction between the players and coaches. I see Evans is much like DD... folded arms or hands on the hip.. just looking like he's in a daze. Every College game Ive ever watched.. oh say about 5000.. I see coaches yelling,coaching,teaching at players with some type of emotion. North Texas is the only school Ive ever seen coaches look like ( as my dad would say ) " lump on a log"!!! I hope someone has seen something different and that there may be some hope , but my eye sight is still pretty good.

DeLoach's secondary shutting down perhaps one of the best offensive minds (Weis) in all of football.. Oh to have him Back!!

I second that!! Colt McCoy has a younger brother not being greatly recruited at Graham High School.. maybe we could get him?? This is a great UT/NEB game... probablay just the 1st of 2 this year.

Even though DD will not be on the sidelines tonight , I believe his fate could / should be decided on this ASU. Either his players can show their support for him and rally together and hopefully start a SBC win streak. Or they can continue to play lackluster and help show DD the door. DD could gain alot of support from the school if his players play like that they want him back again nexy year. A winning SBC record probably means he's back for atleast another season. Or it could be just the oppposite effect and he may have to step down. Agree .. Disagree ???

Anyone know of one in the DFW area ?? I heard something on the radio about a new bar in Addison off of Beltline called Blackfinn. They advertised that you could rent out a room for your Alumni party & they have ESPN gameplan. Im sure it would be too late for this week's game , but Im all for setting one of these up for maybe the Troy game. If things go well , all away games next year. I went w/ a buddy of mine last week to a Michigan Alumni watch party at the Fox & Hound off George Bush when they played Penn St... One of the funnest times Ive ever had. If anyone is interested , please leave some feedback if we could get ... I dont know maybe 40+ people to come I think we could have a good time. I think everyone on here is looking at the Bigger Potiental picture here. We dont want to be compared with the ULL's or ULM's of the world. As far as being a mid-major program , we are a far cry away. As much as you or I might not like it we live in a what have you done for me lately world. Dickey and staff could have had a top 25 ranking 2/3 years ago , but all that wouldnt even matter now Bottom line we have lost 14 out of the last 18 games with more losses looking evident in our near future. I have a good feeling about JJs team this year with 4-star transfer Wooden coming in ..guy was the 19th ranked kid in the nation coming out of HS & Davis returning we should have a good shot at a SBC title.. Fill the Stands!!

I know this is A REAL STRETCH , but I thought it would be cool if it were to actually happen. Incase you havent noticed Tulsa sits at #25 in the first BCS poll. With their remaining schedule ( road games vs. Memphis,Houston,&SMU..all of whom have lost to a SBC team ..and home games vs. UTEP,Rice & Tulane.. I can see them sitting at 11-1 at the end of the season. I can easily see that the teams ranked 10 - 24 , with the exception of Boise St. , will all have atleast 1 more loss this season , some could have 2-3 more. So who knows , I feel they have a real shot of finishing in the top 12 of the BCS poll before the Bowl Games begin. I know SOC will hurt , but HELL once we get offically kicked out of the New Orleans Bowl race.... I think im going to start rootin for the Golden Hurricanes!!

I just went on Rivals.com to try to find some info on this kid. Gives a scroll down for all the colleges on the main page. Guess what we arent even on that list. Troy & the MUTs are , but i think that's it far as SBC teams go. This IRKS me! With scout.com they atleast show some prospects that are considering UNT.
