P.A Im not sure , had to work late. Pit is pretty empty throughout most of the season. A few decent home crowds that Ive been at that I can remember were against TCU,SMU,Houston,Tulsa,& A&M over the past few years. Against Cameron , who probably brought with them about 10 fans I would guess , I wouldnt of expected more than a few 100 in attendence. ( what was it ) Im going to Wednesday's game vs. UTA.. should be a better turn out , hope you make it too and don't get run off by the Cameron game ( attendence)

All DD could truly say about that is " I coached a team that was better than 6 of the worst teams in D-I at the time " I enjoyed every minute of all the Bowl runs , but honestly it wasn't impressive at all. I think there are a few IAA teams that could of won the SBC in any of the 4 years that we did.

I think he was trying to say that Firing DD after 2 bad seasons back to back then we are sending a message to a new potiental head coach that they have only 2 years to WIN or they are out. I guess VE didnt take in consideration the 6 losing seasons DD has had compared to the 3 winning ones. To me , its not the fact of the past 2 losing season , Its the fact of how bad we look while having the 2 losing seasons.

In this world , everyone wants a winner now. I know it's not fair , but it's just the way the world turns. People feel that coaches who pull out the " Im on a 2,3,4 year plan" are just using that as excuses. I want a coach with confidence who come in and says " I want a winner now " MTSU didnt have to wait too long on their new coach to start winning , I dont feel we should have to either.
