Maybe this could be the start of a new tradition , wearing all black in the last home game every year ? Last time Im checked we dont have too many traditions. At least in this case , I can't think of another school who has or ever will do this. But I would at least like to see the new green eagle logo on the helmet with green #'s with the all black .

Im sure DD would inform his players on the black uni's before hand. If they didnt want to wear them , then Im sure they would have not. I have NO problem with the black uni's if the players didnt have a problem with it. Im usually on the Old School thinking side , but I really don't understand all the fuss over uni's. Is it just another excuse to be pissed at DD? I don't care what he does too much , because Im just happy he's only got 1 more game left. Let's all look at the bright side and be excited about the future , screw the uni's

I think UTA is a very good team and maybe we just got a bit too cocky after the WIN vs a good UNCC team. I wouldnt be surprised at all if UTA goes on to WIN the SLC and goes dancing this year. Their young coach looks like he has a bright future.

Im ONLY coming out for 2 people. RV & JQ . But , I will admit I will not be tailgating due to the UM/OSU game. I've always follwed Michigan , never a fan but followed , most of family is from there and I had a uncle who worked years in the Atheltic Dept. at UM. So those are my excuses

We are still in the works for a even bigger donation than MM right ??? What if the hold up is because the donor already had made plans to name the practice field something else ? What if they are now saying , hey we want it to be called something like " J - Quinn Practice Field " ... do we have to rename it again ?? We would be the laughing stock of college football

Too much adversity to overcome for the fans to be able to sing to DD. The Weather may hinder vocal cords , Fouts will just create echoes , the fans would to have to overcome the worst conditions in America today to be able to sing for DD in unison.

Was it really re-named because DD didn't know where it was at in all of his years ?? Was it really named to remind future team/coaches on what NOT to do ?? Will next year be the 1st annual NT practice at DD practice field ?? Let's all start to name the "greatest known named practice fields in the country" ...... I give up! Ok , I just had to come up with 1 last parting shot w/ DD and since Ive ran out of everything I had in my book this is all I got. Good luck in future DD

He must not be a good salesman anymore , If Hawaii can't recruit HAWAII ( hey kid you want to come live on an island and play football for the next 4 years of your life ? ) otherwise Hawaii would be in the top 25 year n and year out. Look , I like Jerry Glanville he's was Kool back in the Day... but so were transformers You want a old coach who has already seen his better days or younger guy with his best possibly still to come ??

How many 18 year old to you know who actually listen to their parents ??? Sure he coached in the NFL , but how long ago ? We are not on the level of an OU or UT who kids go their just for the purpose of a steppping stone to the NFL. I may be wrong , but I think most of the kids that we recruit ( sure there are a few exceptions ) do not have NFL calibur talent ,thus are more interested in college than an NFL future.

Rick my wife is a teacher and says this year they were told to teach the kids to add cover. Different school districts / fire departments teach different methods ?

For those of you who would want the man in Black as our coach ask yourself this question. How many High School seniors would even know who Jerry Glanville is ? Id say less than 10% , he would have NO impact on recruiting in Texas. Close the case on this candidate please!

Im a HUGE fan of TD , but a loss to Euless Trinity in the 2nd Round would not surprise me. You could look at this in 2 ways : If he does WIN a another State Championship at what point does he say , this is getting to boring , maybe even easy. If he does lose , does he say Ok , now it's time to go ? This just in SLC 35 Lewisville 0

Say we get Carthel. Im sure they have a few DII players who could easily go to a DI school and make an impact. Can a DII transfer to a DI school without sitting out a year ? Im sure he could get few of his elite players come with him that want the chance to play on the DI level.
