This kinda reminds me of when NBA owners drafted a High School "Star" high in the lottery drafts. Some panned out , most didn't. While I don't believe anyone should "believe in Dodge'' , or any other coach NT had brought in for that matter. I do feel he has what , like the NBA HS Kids had , POTENTIAL. TD may or not pan out , but I think it's safe to say that he has the POTENTIAL to turn our program around. Something that we wouldn't of had with DD for the next year.

Imagine how it would of reacted if the stats inculded fumbles lost, delay of games , wasted timeouts , etc. etc. etc.

I hope the people who are against the "High School Coach" give it time to workout. 1) We have a very tough OOC schedule this year w/ OU and ARK and possibly Akron. 2) The spread offense will take time. 3) These are not "his" players. As happy as I am with TD, Im still a realist. I still think we may be 2/3 years from being a bowl bound team year in a year out.

Not even close. Harbaugh maybe would be a close second with maybe,maybe 175. Any other realistic choice there would have been no more than 125.

While Ill agree with u about Muzzy , I believe he played in atleast 6 games this year. I think the medical redshirt is based on a % of games you missed that your team plays. At the most 3 would probably be the limit ( just guessing) But if RF is still under contract maybe he could use his NCAA medical redshirt peeps ties and do something good for us going out the door. I swear that guy played at SMU for 10 years.

If he applied for the SFA HC , im sure he applied here. If he didnt get an interview , id be upset. I thought he was the best overall coach we have had in the DD era. Maybe he got an interview , maybe he didn't who knows ? After watching his Bruins take care of USC , I thought maybe he was on the verge of some bigger things.

It was the closest they have come to a win all year. But , they have had a pretty tough schedule so far. They could still do some damage in the Southland Conference.

So we were up 14 late ?? If so , this team is lacking that "killer instinct " and can't put away teams when it should. I fear we play to the level of our competition way too much. Anyways , a road win is a road win.

Yes , I think it would will take 4-5 years to build a constant top #25 team here. You actually read what PMG writes ?? I can't take it Dodge,Harbaugh, you, me .. anyone would leave here for the right price , something Big 12 , SEC , etc. can make happen.
