It's a year behind schedule , but ya Im anxious to see what that combo can do in the spread offense.

I don't think anyone has called for JJs head during the current season. However , if we do not win a SBC tourney game or say win at least 20 wins then he must go. If another season goes by that repeats itself and people still back JJ , they must think way too small in life and accept mediocrity. The WKU road victory was great yes,but under JJ it seems that for every step this program takes forward it is quicky followed by 2 steps back. While I agree with you on the most part about Women's BB, 18 years is just too much for someone who has not shown anything for it.
-
Actually it was just a typo , they were 10/20 for 50%

I have yet to go over the stats for all the games ( my time is limited ) so I just chose to choose our 4 SBC losses. Here is our opponents 3 pt % for our 4 losses. NO: 11/23 48% UALR: 10/14 71% ASU: 7/16 44% FIU: 10/20 50% Grand Total: 38/71 53.5% Nearly 30pts a game come by way of the 3 Sure on some nights you will catch a HOT team , but this is ridiculous.. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out. If in man , apply more pressure on the ball , don't leave your man , don't sag. If playing zone , extend the perimeter. You will not win many games giving up more than 50% from behind the arc. It's a trend , not luck. Any D-I guard/forward can hit an open jump shot.

Rice Hires Tx State's David Baliff As New Coach
NT03 replied to Baby Arm!'s topic in Mean Green Football
Agreed , but it will be even tougher this time around as it's going to be harder to get a kid that can get into Rice than Texas State. -
Referring to our opponent during a post game interview on how good they were and how great they played sounds kinda familiar

Rice Hires Tx State's David Baliff As New Coach
NT03 replied to Baby Arm!'s topic in Mean Green Football
Good Hire. I feel bad for the guy who is getting a VERY late start in the recruiting process. -
Wow , that's scary. Same time almost the same post. Great minds think alike I guess
-
Once again we play to the level of our competition. JJ is a great guy , good recruiter , but NOT the guy to get us over the hump ( a post season birth)
-
Is it just me , or does every team we play have a good night from behind the arc ?
-
FIU , the "I" comes from the promotion of the launching of new programs with an international focus and the recruitment of faculty from the Caribbean and Latin America by the then school president in the early 70s. I looked it up , I was curious too.

Since it may rain later on ,Im going to leave an extra 30 minutes tonight

I don't know all the names on the list , but I do know that Weldon Nelms is more than capable of continuing the SLC tradition. I hope he gets it. -

Great to hear. Funny tho , awhile back I hammered DD by saying his players did what they wanted to do in the weight room and often times did not even work out and I got bad responses back from posters. Oh well , Things are looking brighter.

I think we have plenty of players who are already horrible at FT shooting.

We have had just as much talent as they have had over the past few years and this year I think we have more.
