Based on our record I don't think that we will be the play in game. If ASU won then they might of been in it with their 14 losses ( depending on how other small conference tourneys turn out )

Thanks , but I think ur Tigers might go a few more rounds deep than us lol. My only concern about ur Tigers is that they didn't face too much stiff competition from their C-USA ( down year for everyone but Memphis ) foes which mighthurt them in the long run. It's been awhile since they had to play a tough game that counted.

Thanks SUMG for bein with me. Ill still stand by my thought of JJ being a far better recruiter than coach , but in the Belt maybe that's good enough. We seemed to have just more athleticism than anyone else in the tourney. If Slinker can be here for 30 years and never get the Women to the Big Dance does this mean JJ gets a lifetime contract ?

Keith7 I believe you have been one of the few who have been positive throughout , so good for you and thanks for being such a loyal fan.I'm not saying Ive never been a loyal Mean Green fan , just a Very disgruntled one. I guess after "X" amount of years of frustration , things really can change. I just hope the best thing that comes out of this is that people around Denton realize we have something special here and the attendance sees a BIG boost next year.

ESPN plus games, in the past ,have come on either 3 or 6 on Charter, can't remember which one. But , neither as of the moment is showing on the menu that it will be televised tonight. Even better reason to meet up at Fox n Hound in L'ville 2Nite

Even with a slim hope for a NIT bid , we can't lose to the MUTs. If we can get to the Championship game and put on a good show , I think a NIT birth is possible. That's all saying if we don't win the SBC!!!

Fox & Hound in Lewisville im pretty sure carries both espn full court & espn + , they have a large room with a couple of pool tables w/ a big screen that is on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Im off tommorrow and will call early to let everyone know if they will be showing the game and If we can get enough people up there early enough if they would show it in the big room. Two rooms in Addison is another option.

Will be televised by ESPN plus I hear , should be available at most sports bars.

I wouldn't count South Bama as a shoe in just yet. They have dropped 3 straight to FAU,FIU, & Troy. If we can get past ULL , the field should be wide open for anyone to claim the title.

Same here , I was only 6 years old in 84' but I was already a diehard fan. I sure miss the days of Harry & Steve Stone on WGN during the summer days. It's just not the same , but still I LOVE the Cubbies!!

If someone could help me out here , I forgot what the rule is about being bowl eligible. I know it's 6 wins , but last year they changed something as it dealt with IAA victories. Since we play WKU this year ( im thinking ) it will be a OOC game , but still count as a IAA win and not sure if it will count toward our bowl eligible win total. OOC games : @ OU (9/1) @ SMU (9/8) @ ARK ( 9/29) vs.Navy (11/10) WKU ( TBA) SBC games : @ Troy (10/20) vs. MTSU (10/27) vs. FAU (11/3) ULL,ASU,FIU,ULM (TBA) My guess we go either 2-3 or 3-2 in OOC & 4-3 or 3-4 in SBC. Best case scenario , we beat SMU,Navy,WKU,FAU,ULL,ASU,FIU,ULM and finish at 8-4. Will we have to be 7-5 to be bowl eligible ?? I loved the NO Bowl , but honestly wouldn't mind something else. Also , Arkansas play NT, Troy & FIU this year. If they will out and the league struggles maybe they will be the Sunbelt representative in the NO Bowl

I don't like soccer all that much , nor have I ever watched a whole game , but I think the World Cup Final would be the most exciting ( and probably most dangerous) environment possible.
