Howard Stirgus 6-3/175 SF Denton, TX Denton Is this the kid who called in a bomb threat to a game because he was suspended ?? If so , let's stay away from this one.

When you hear the term " Home Run King" , who's name pops up 1st in your head ?

Even though I didn't vote for WRs, I thought since our leading returnee only had 17 catches last year that that position would garner a few votes. I know we brought in several skill WRs , but they all will be very young.

Since the wife tells me that the weekend trips I have planned to Norman and Fayetteville will not count towards a official vacation , I was hoping that anyone who has had a good recent experience out there would have some suggestions ( sites, hotels, etc.) We were thinking something with a beach would do, thanks in advance.

Any reason Jeremy Brown didn't return this year ?

For those of you who have watched the spring practices so far ..

http://cfn.scout.com/2/630455.html SMU Realistic best case record with this schedule: 9-3 Barring total disaster worst case record: 4-8 Realistic record: 7-5 It's not easy. The Mustangs have the three worst Conference USA road games you can get going to Southern Miss, Tulsa and Houston in a title-dream killing midseason stretch of three away dates in four weeks. While North Texas and Arkansas State help ease up the non-conference slate, playing Texas Tech and going to TCU means a 2-2 start is likely. There can't be any slips in home games against Tulane, Rice and UCF if the Mustangs want to go to a bowl. SMUSept. 3 Texas Tech Sept. 8 North Texas Sept. 15 at Arkansas State Sept. 22 at TCU Sept. 29 UTEP Oct. 13 at Southern Miss Oct. 20 Tulane Oct. 27 at Tulsa Nov. 4 at Houston Nov. 10 Rice Nov. 17 UCF Nov. 24 at Memphis - Almost certain win - Likely loss - Could go either way Screw em'!! I noticed that had "almost certain" wins for almost every C-USA team when they face a Sun Belt team. SMU over NT, Memphis over MTSU , SMiss over AK St. , UCF over ULL, & Tulsa over ULM. I guess this person didn't see the 4-3 record over C-USA last year that the Belt had.

One of the best SNLs Ive seen in awhile -
So much for the "home court advantage". Oh well, the deeper the Tigers go ,the less pain I feel about our loss.

From what I saw in the game , we gave the Tigers a much tougher time than the 7th seeded Wolf pack

Should be LAST. Why would they want to look forward to another loss to the MEANGREEN!!!!!!

http://www.cfbpalace.net/index.php?module=...les&tid=122 This site is the most reliable I've ever seen on future schedules over the past few years. I guess our new stadium will one day be a reality!!!

A tad yes , but still the NCAA should be ashamed of themselves. Schools who play by the rules and actually want their kids to succeed in life outside of sports should be rewarded with more scholarships than the "semi-pro" schools.

Good point , you probably right. Hopefully now we can get some good home and home deals. But on the flip side , im sure there were a few lower division teams this year who could of beat us at any point in the season. We didn't hit our stride till the very end. If this were to ever happen in the future ( lose to a NAIA,Div II ) we could automatically eliminate any chances of getting a possible NIT bid , or if we won the SBC again and had a bad loss , we would for sure be in the dreaded "play in" game.

. It's about time they did something about this. Still just 15% is sad , but a start. The college basketball game is a joke in the sense that most players just put on the jersey and have nothing else tied to their school. I think it should be at the very least 25%. Does anyone really think that Greg Oden has ever attended a class at Ohio St. ??? The term student-athlete is a lost art in most cases

I always will , always have hated the COWBOYS , but I always enjoyed seeing Crazy Ray at the games. It's a sad day in football , he represented what a true "die hard" fan is. I think he should be in the Ring of Honor. Players, coaches, etc. are nothing without us fans. Crazy Ray was a fan in every sense of the word. JJ should honor a man who was a legend to other football fans.

NAIA, DIV II whatever they were. I hope our attendance will get a much needed boost next year , but I also know that we live in a what have you done for me lately world. I attended all home games I could ( work permitting ) but I simply had no interest in seeing Jarvis Christian or Belhaven this past season. If we are to gain more fan fare I hope we can schedule some more decent regional teams. You guys think our schedule will have a different look next year ?? I sure hope so!!
