Andy Brewster , one of the best centers we've had was not all that big. The kid will easily put on weight and add to the fact that in this fast pace offense having a heavy center may not be the best thing. IMO , the center has to be the fastest and quickest lineman u have out there to be able to captain the line to hurry them up and get the team set in a no huddle offense.

Spending time with wifey , yard work , scouting FAU ???? I hate off weeks , but I'm glad its this weekend. Two weeks to prepare for our 1st belt opponent. As for me, Ill attempt to play in softball tournament for SIDS. Hopefully we will get our ass kicked early and I can post up the rest of the day in the parking lot while enjoying some nice adult beverages. Trying to hit a softball and run the bases while being a bit trashed is not very fun.

Well said. We should be glad that people from other programs want to get on here and not only read but post. We get mad that SMU or TCU looks down on us , but I'm sure most would look down on someone like a Texas St. Im just glad the Bobcats didn't try to play us the last few years , because you know what ...they would of won.

Yes he was a stud. I got to play against them when they were still in 3A. He stood way out back then in a program that was just a young pup. If he wasn't throwing TDs he was kicking thru the uprights. I remember pre-game he was bootin 60yds+ FG like it was nothing , and the whole stadium was in awe

I think it should be a no brainer just to move back the basketball game to 8pm. Both teams deserve our full support.

Washington will be lucky to be at .500 by the time they travel to the islands. They still have games left versus Ohio State,USC,UCLA,California & Oregon.

And Mendoza's Cover 1. I Don't get how we held SMU to 6 points last year with basically the same unit. Mendoza's grace period is now over, he's got 2 weeks for FAU.No excuses.

If I remember right Roman didn't sign until late June, so he wasn't there for any of the spring practices. Im not sure how many actual practices he had before he even suited up for us. His reward for winning the starting job in week 1 ??? Malcolm Kelly!!! Best reciever we have played against in recent years, will be one of the top 3 WRs taken in next years draft. The kid is probably still learning the defense , ill never bash on a guy who hustles like that.
