  1. We've only played 2 games and we have already played our best ??? Sure statistically yeah maybe , but our best will come when our offense, defense and special teams all have a good game , and it will come. Ill agree however ,that we are behind Troy,FAU,MUTS & Arkansas St. and we will be lucky to pull out one of those games. Wins over FIU,ULL,ULM & WKU should happen. 5 wins is certainly not out of the question.
  2. I'll be the 1st to defend Todd Dodge and his coaching, but he has awhile for we can even consider putting him into the same category as Schellenberger. Here is his bio : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_Schnellenberger
  3. TCU, UTEP , Utah , smu & Houston all offered this kid after he gave his verbal to us.
  4. Yes , didn't we lose out or was in the running with the Shockers last year on at least 2 prospects ?? Have you ever been to Wichita ?? Why anyone would want to leave Texas and go there is beyond me.
  5. Excellent post CBL
  6. FAU 41 UNT 38
  7. Toure Murray gave his verbal to Wichita State over the weekend.
  8. Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News, reports New York Giants DL Adrian Awasom (neck) suffered a stinger during the team's Week 2 game. Awasom was wearing a neck brace and a sling on his right arm after the game.
  9. Good game , YES. Better than UK and Louisville , NO.
  10. Was wandering the same thing. He was 1st team all district last year , so surely he's currently banged up. It must be somewhat serious, I would guess, to miss a game like that .Im sure he wanted to be out there.
  11. Anyone notice that out latest commit , Nick Leppo didn't start. Is he hurt , or is he a backup ?? I find it hard to believe we offer a ship to backup center.Just wandering if he's currently banged up.
  12. That UT win over the Horned Frogs looking more and more unimpressive. Maybe TCU is just having a letdown after a big game ?? They shouldn't its their conference opener. OU will beat Texas by 3 TDs this year.
  13. I remember Jamal Branch lining up behind center on a few wacky plays.. Might as well add him to the list
  14. I believe we have a few slots open b/w 08-10 08 OOCs: LSU & K-State (possibly Rice) 09 OOCs: LSU & Air Force (possibly Rice) 10 OOCs: Clemson & K-State Not sure if we have a home and home deal with Rice , but I think they are set to come here next year
  15. I think all the players listed must have played QB in High School. I know Warren & Rexrode did. Pearl was a pretty good , CORNERBACK... his QB skills ... I don't know
  16. Glad someone gave this man his props!! As much pub TD has gotten , this man has been VERY under-appreciated. Last year we bitched and moaned endlessly about our line. We lost our best one from a year ago , DL , and totally changed offenses. Leftwich has been invaluable so far and with the line being so young , it can only get better!!!
  17. Id love to play them again soon. They only have 1 OOC agreement so far for 09' & 10' ( Louisiana Tech), but Im guessing they would be cautious to schedule us. Dodge ball wiil be in full effect and would take down them Aggies!!!
  18. Maybe someone leanin on that GreeN KooL AiD
  19. Arkansas State is 3 point favorite over smu Anyone know if Minnesota /FAU game will be on EPSN + ??
  20. Im guessing ur asking who is the best QB of that bunch & ur vote is Meager ?? Meager's game was nice , but he was just the QB in the best system we have ever had. Whatever records Meager breaks , I'm sure Vizza or Dodge will break them very shortly there after
  21. That's the halftime score.

  23. I wonder if a ticket from the Navy game would get a fan in the Pit for free (general admission, of co Best Idea I've heard in a long time, hope RV reads this!!
  24. http://cfn.scout.com/2/678318.html 1. The North Texas Mean Green offense North Texas had one of the nation's most abysmal offenses over the last two years, and was brutal when it came to throwing the ball, averaging just 115 passing yards per game last season with only one game over 200 yards. In comes legendary Texas high school head coach Todd Dodge, whose spread passing attack dominated over the last several years. The offense didn't do much in the 79-10 loss to Oklahoma to start the season, and then it went ballistic against SMU. The numbers aren't real, even in a world with Colt Brennan. 601 passing yards from Daniel Meager. 18 catches for 327 yards and two touchdown from Casey Fitzgerald. Ten catches for 133 yards and a score from Brandon Jackson. Korey Washington, the number three receiver, caught eight passes for 70 yards. Considering no one in the Sun Belt throws the forward pass with any regularity, it'll be interesting to note what the attack does in the opener against Florida Atlantic this week. It'll also be interesting to see how long Dodge sticks ***** SORRY JUST SAW THAT THIS WAS POSTED EARLIER*************
