ACC Virgina is 4-1 on the season.

I know in late August he had an injured abdomen & groin. Maybe it's a lingering effect?? In 05 he had a concussion , another possibility.

I never liked the guy , because he always has been a thorn in my Cubbies side, but damn do I respect him. Great guy , great player and Ill miss seein him on the diamond. Playing with 1 team for 20 years... will we ever see this again in baseball ??

I was briefly a fan in the late 80s/early 90s (???) when my former next door neighbor , Greg Young ( a DE transfer from Texas A&M) started playing for the Mean Green.Anyone remember him ?? Lost interest when he stopped playing , but started following the team again when I decided to transfer to Denton via Midwestern State in 1999. I then noticed this little,big DT nicked named " Booger" and fell in love with UNT football. As hard as it is to be fan , I wouldn't change it for the world.

If my head is right , we have given up 220 points. So that's 55 ppg. If OU and Arkansas really wanted to , they would of put up 80..easily , so the ppg do not really reflect how bad this D is.

Only thing that shocks me , is that the line shocks some of you. Besides "hangin" with a other wise winless team ( SMU ) what have we done ?? ULL hung with a very good 4-1 South Carolina team and only lost 28-14. Lost by a touchdown to a decent Ohio U team, and went toe to toe with the class of the Sunbelt , Troy. Yes they lost to McNeese State, but I would bet that even Non DEEoza's* defense couldn't stop that high powered offense. Ill think we will WIN , but maybe I'm a bit biased. We have by far the worst DEFENSE in the NATION. I can't argue with 9 points , because we are giving up 55 frekin points a game!! Let's face it , Arkansas could have easily hung 80 on us , and If OU wanted to be an ass they would of reached the century mark. While my green eyes say we win 35-31 , I wouldn't bet $100 on the Mean Green * Until will we hold someone under 20 points your new name is Non Deeoza

Correct me if I'm wrong , Ealey has played in 2 games... NO way he can redshirt.

It's been a little light on questions this week, but I did receive one inquiry about head coach Todd Dodge's plans when it comes to playing any additional freshmen this season. Dodge actually addressed that very topic yesterday. Unless something unforeseen happens, quarterback Giovanni Vizza, linebacker A.J. Penson, wide receivers Sam Dibrell, Breece Johnson and B.J. Lewis and running back Micah Mosely will be the Mean Green's freshmen who will play this season. There also appears to be a chance Kevin Ealey will play as well. He has played in just two games this season, so there still could be a chance that he could redshirt. I have received a lot of questions about the rest of the freshman receivers and their status. At this point, it does not look like Marcus King, Sam Roberson or Evan Walker will play.
