I would of like to of thought that by this point in the season that these useless penalties would of have been history. Apparently there has been NO improvement since last year.

Your right , I think we have more overall talent than UNO. Right now at this point tho , Id give the edge to UNO since they have played together more as a unit. Plus , they have this guy named BO who I heard is pretty good.

Was hoping someone would post the score. Last I heard it was something like 34-3. In other scores , Hawaii leads Boise St. 19-17 at the half. I'm torn on which major to root for.

Who will win and get the inside track to homefield advantage ??? I hate the Cowboys I really do , but If they win this game and have home field in playoffs , I can't see them being beat until they lose to New England again in the Super Bowl. A loss however , would have them lined up to go play in Green Bay with the weather probably being like negative 10 or something. Can't see them knocking off the Pack on the road.

I think the OSU WIN went to some of you guys head that do not follow the BB program with a keen eye. You just noticed the WIN versus a big name like OKLAHOMA STATE and said , wow we are REAL GOOD!! Well we are pretty good , but right now I'd put WKU & New Orleans ahead of us in the belt. I'm not trying to be negative , I just think that until this unit plays more 2gether we are currently behind these 2 programs. There is no doubt we still have the ability to go dancing again , but it's one hell of a tough path to get there again.

WKU is a decent team and should be favored , just ask Troy who they think is the better team. Or better yet , ask MTSu. I can see us getting out to a big lead again only to see it slip away sometime late in the 3rd quarter or early in the 4th. I hope it's another high scoring affair with the end result being something like 48-42. I don't want to give Dodge any reason at all to bring back Mendoza as the DC next year. I fear that 2 decent showings in the last 2 games of the year against 2 very below average teams could lead to Dodge giving Mendoza a pass for this year and a chance to regain his position again for 1 more year.

It was a buyout agreement on both sides. I can't blame him for taking the money and leaving , but I guess If I were in his shoes , I would feel an obligation to my players to coach in the bowl game.

How can this guy honestly go into a recruit's home and say I'm 100% committed to this university and building a winning program here at SMu ??? He bolted TCU & Bama without ever even telling the players , now it looks like he has quit on his Aggie team and will not even coach in the bowl game. Im glad he's SMu's next coach , more reason to disslike the university Say he does have a winning season next year , do you really expect him to stick around long ??

While i LOVE the PICS, hate to get back to the topic at hand ....I don't know if I heard the same rumor as Baby Arm.... but there may just be a announcement. It's funny how some of you posters have no problem treating UTA as nothing more than a rotten step child , but the moment someone from SMU says something negative about our school we get all bend out of shape and say how arrogant they are. UTA has a very good BB program right now. I think we will win , but it shouldnt come as a shock if the Mavs pull it out again.

Go Trojans !!! I'm going to the Ohio State vs. Troy game next year in Columbus. My wife's family is there and are big Buckeye fans and supporters. We had to go up there anyway and they invited us to a game. So I get to kill 2 birds with one stone ( always wanted to see a Buckeye game anyways)I picked that game because I could really pull for Troy and not be rooting for the other team just to be an ass. Would I be any less of a Mean Green Fan , If I went out and bought Trojan gear and wore it to the game while cheering for them ?? It's only because they are in the Belt and I like to support any team playing an OOC game. Or should I go in Mean Green Gear and have everyone ask me , who's that ... are yall DI ??

We didnt get SMU. From what I've heard our coach , JJ , contacted them about a game this year and they declined. I guess they needed the room for Paul Quinn. It's a dirty shame there is not some opening season or holiday season tourny each year with the 4 DFW comepeting ( SMu,TCU,UNT,UTA)

Agree , I hope we play UTA every year for years to come. I think both programs are on the rise , and both are currently better than TCU & SMU. Would / Should be a attendance booster for the home squads. Would not surprise me one bit if we win the Belt again this year and the Mavs won the Southland.

I'm going to try like hell to make it , a lot of work to get done before the short week is over. I've never been to the Stage , but would love too to go. Should be a great matchup between 2 undeafted teams. This one will be very close again , hopefully different result. Looking at UTA's schedule , how do they get TCU on the schedule and we don't ??
