Schools making pitches this week to host the tournament include Southern Miss, Louisiana Tech, UAB and UTEP. There's no sure thing on when the site may be officially announced. Louisiana Tech wants to host the 2014-15 tournament at the Centurylink Center, in Bossier City, La., a 14,000-seat arena near Shreveport. The Shreveport Times reports that the women's tournament would begin at Centenary's arena in Shreveport before playing the semifinals and finals at the Centurylink Center.
