Yep. Teams took notice when Oklahoma State fell to the Mighty Mean Green at the pit. I doubt we are going to host any BIG XII opponents anytime soon ( even tho Tech still owes us a game here ). My guess we fill up the remaining OOC home games versus the likes of Sam Houston State ( and/or another Southland team ) and someone like a Houston Baptist ( which I'm pretty sure they will be coming here ) and/or a TXPA. SMU continues to be a little BiA Bia and will not schedule us. Maybe if Doh is ever fired over there the new coach will want to renew the series. Wouldn't mind seeing TCU on the schedule every year again also. The 4 teams in the metroplex should get together every year and be in a season opening tournament with the host team rotating each year. NT,TCU,UTA,SMu. Dominate the home court , play some solid teams on the road and hopefully knock off a few. I'm expecting 22+ wins this year and hopefully a deep run in the conference tourny.

A couple of thoughts on that : Was the deep snapper for TVCC , could he be here for that ? When Army comes to town they have a 6'10 WR/TE. Charlie has been thru a few different positions and coaches in his time here and that has to be hard for someone. He probably wasn't going to get the playing time maybe he was hoping for as we have added a lot of depth along the line. Maybe he wants to take the time off to concentrate on graduating and/or looking for a job/internship. If that's the case I can't blame the guy and wish him nothing but the best.

I DE - Gilmore DT - Ross DT - Shavod DE - Cantly / Weber / Anyiam I think Franklin moved back over the O - side did he not ? with a good dose of speed : AK & Washington on passing situations with a good dose of Jackson & DeSoto keeping fresh bodies What once looked like a very scary situation ( d-line) is now filled with several capable players to fill certain roles. We look to be pretty deep and I'm sure DeLoach & Nelson will rotate several guys to keep every1 fresh.

Agreed. I've been pretty critical of this staff , but keeping in touch with these latest recruits tell me this staff is doing a very good,diligent job on the recruiting front.
