Could another UNT loss be a tribute to Army ?

I'll admit I only watched the 1st half then I decided I had better things to go do. Call me a bad fan if you want , but here is what I saw. I saw Gilmore make a few good plays while in.Im not saying Gilmore is some kind of badass stud , but he can make plays and put pressure on the QB every once in awhile and thats saying more than most anyone on this team. I saw AK get pushed back and around more than a few times some 5 - 10 yds out and off the line of scrimmage. Maybe it's because he's better suited in a Demarcus Ware type of role ? But what do I know. The one TFL/Sack whatever it is AK had was because he was pushed to outside of the line some 10 yards and the QB scrambled his way and AK was able to get free and make the stop for a loss of 1 yard. D played better only because ULM didn't have to score more than needed too , they could of easily hung 40+ pts on us. I promise If we had scored 50 , ULM would of put 60 on us It's time for a Green Team DEF. What's it really going to hurt ? Put in my boy Deheck !!!

Last week Dodge praised Gilmore in the win versus WKu so he gets benched the next week ??

I really thought that this team would of come out with fire in their eys. A home game , fresh off a rare win while trying to build on something. With 4 games remaining and a chance to win out and end the season at a very respectable 6 - 6 I thought that this team would want that. I get tired head trying to think what this team / coaching is thinking.

Yes Moussai is probably the best fighter in the world that no1 has ever heard of. I really think him and Anderson Silva would be a good match , even though several people have laughed at me for even thinking this. Fedor is lighting quick for a man 230 pds. I was impressed by Rodgers ability on the ground. 9 times out of 10 when Fedor goes for an armbar on someone he is able to apply it. Rodgers was able to pull out quick enough and should be considered a top 10 HW in the world. I think Overeem is the only one on Strikeforce's payroll that stands a chance vs Fedor, but until he stops juicing and can pass a drug test in the states that won't happen

I don't know if RV can control it or if it's decided by the conference for t.v purposes. Honest question , if we were playing FIU for our last home game instead of Army would you expect more than 5K ?? I think Army will bring a good crowd and it might actually be a good game.

It would of also help if on certain plays our DBs didn't play 12-15 yards off the slot WR. All of our DEF coaches are bad , but our secondary coach is probably one of the worst in the nation. What made it even harder to watch yesterday , Monroe DB Nate Brown from Burkburnett had a solid game. The kid wanted to come to UNT to play DI ball and stay close to home. Never even got a letter or a look from our coaching staff

Agree. Dunbar looked gassed at times because of the workload. Cam is still a dangerous weapon, it would be nice to see Cam get 5 - 10 touches a game. Give Dunabr some breathers and let's keep him fresh and healthy for another 2 + years.

I watched Gilmore on every single play. He wasn't even lined up at DE for most of the 1st half. It was Obi who was the one getting whipped on every single play that he was in at DE. Didn't say Gimore was a NFL player , but he is a NFL prospect due to his size at DE.

Can't believe it took the coaching staff so long to finally move Eddrick back to the DE. Can't believe that in the 1st series that he was in at DE , he had one QB hurry and no run plays to his side. Can't believe he sat out the next series and they ran everytime to that side and scored Can't believe in his next series he had another QB pressure , 1 run to his side for a small gain , and they scored on a pass on the opposite side of the field. Can't belive he was out again for the next series. More runs to his side , same TD reslut. After this you could notice Gilmore and the coaches arguing on the sidelines. He was at DE the rest of the game Why in the #*!@ did it take so long for the staff to do this ? Most posters on this board new where he belonged. You have the only ideal DI/NFL DE on the roster and you want to put him in a backup DT ? He's too tall and small ( DLineman size small ) to be a DT. He easily can get stood up & pushed back by stronger lowerbodied OLineman. His greatest assest is his speed for his size , yet we want to put him at DT ? I don't know if I should be happy about the coaching staff doing something that even a junior high coach would have already known. Im more pissed that it took sooooo long for them to realize this , maybe there are several other things they have not realized.

Agreed. We should of never been in a position in the 1st place to have to battle back for the win. To make things worse SMU knocks off a very good Tulsa team today. All 3 DFW teams WON toady , when was the last time that happended ?

An Idea I'd like to throw out there. Every year at homecoming the School should allow students to turn in any other college team shirt in for a UNT shirt. Then those shirts collected all thrown into the Bonfire.

We need a annual gmg.com basketball game. CBL , how often do you come back to Texas ? I haven't touched a rock in 5 years , after 3 knee surgeries I officially became old. Even tho I could probably school most of you on here , I would volunteer to officiate , coach or even supply the food & beverages for afterwords.
