I think we are in a bad spot either way you look at it. What more can TD sell that he has not already sold to prior recruits ? Can he honestly tell them that things at UNT are starting to turn around ? Is a new stadium really the key ? Doesn't seem to bother TCU and 79 year old Amon Carter We only have 4 recruits so far w/ 1 3 star recruit while other whom we compete with already have several solid commits lined up. Until I see the name of this phantom 5th verbal , I we can't depend on him right now. If we stick w/ Dodge I can't see this being his best class , but if we bring in someone else he's already way behind and we would also risk losing our top recruit , Javia Hall.It would have to be a big hire in order to compensate the lack of time he would have

Maxey is a stud. He's a 4 year starter and the preseason SWAC player. JSU website just says he only played 3 min vs Bama , but didn't say why and the game vs SFA there was no mention at all. This will be a very tight game , even more so if he plays

I hate to take even more shots at TD , because it's not healthy to dislike someone but here goes : * Again I really , really like TD as a person and a coach , just not as a HC * Show was a bore : A lot of stadium talk & Army talk A couple things stood out to me 1) He talked about about the DEF needed to work on getting turnovers , but didn't sya anthing about the need to fix ours 2) He talked about how Darren Williams is a "next level" player and how good he is. I don't know what he meant by " next level" , but if he's really that good why has he been pretty much riding the pine all year after starting all of last ? 3) IF TD is here next year doesn't sound like there is going to be a open battle for the QB position. TD talked about how exciting it will be next year w/ Lance and Riley coming back and that their numbers are ideal for their positions. Likes to have QBs w/ 2000 + yds & 500 + yds rushing I think TD will be here next season

If I wanted to root for a nice guy I'd go cheer on my churches flag football team

Agree... but if Dodge is here next year he is coaching for his life and I just can't see him spending much time on a 3rd string QB whom will probably never see the field as long as Riley is here

I know he was just a true freshman , but he has very poor footwork. Great arm and size , but he has a ways to go. I have to wonder if Todd would really be inclined to put in the time to help him improve if he is still the head coach here.
