I personally can't see 7 - 5. This 1 hire doesn't make us better than Kansas St,Clemson,Troy or MTSU. That would mean we would have to WIN 7 of the other 8 games on the schedule and I don't see that happening. It's one coordinator position. It's a not a whole new staff , it's not a 5 star QB and it's certainly not a stud DT that can carry a whole unit. A good hire ? Yes. UNT & TD's savior ? No

I would love a white turf with a big green sow at midfield. Have all the numbers and yardlines be green as well. We would be different and standout. We could call it Albino Field !

We are in the same boat Travis. I don't want to be negative either , but I'm not going to get my hopes up. 1 coordinator hire does not make up for being one of , if not the worst team in all of football over the past several years. Unless Canales can bring in a stud D Lineman recruit we still have a ton of issues. Our biggest problem last year wasn't on the offense side of the ball. I think our offense can be very good , but if we can't keep the other team from scoring 40+ a game then it won't make a difference

I don't know how much he really uses a TE , if he does I guess it's more for blocking. USF only had 4 TEs on the roster last year and they combined for a grand total of just 7 catches for the whole season. We have a good TE prospect who redshirted last year , Austin Fitzpatrick , but I would say he's more of a pass catching TE rather than blocker so it will be intersting to see how he is used in Canales' system

Yes foul while he was dribbling and he he sees it coming so he heaves up a shot and has an attempt for maybe a 4 point play or he goes to the line and shoots 2. He makes the 1st one , misses the second one and wku gets the ball back again with a chance to win the game or foul someone away from the ball , risk the chance for a intentional foul or be in the same situation as the with the 1st made FT , intentional miss and risk the ball game. I'm sure if any of those came up you would probably bitch about that too. I encourage you sit back and enjoy and win. Are we a great team , no. Are we a good , Who knows. I'd say we aren't bad tho. I'm a MEAN GREEN fan so if I or other people want to be excited about a WIN , something that a lot of programs don't know how to do around campus ,then we are going to get excited. We will go winless in Football this year , so these are the last few wins you will see for awhile. Either enjoy them or be that guy at the party who sits in the corner mad while everyone else is having a good time.

While I would generally agree with you on this , the ball was in AJ's hand. He was 10/10 on FTs on the evening while only shooting 4 / 13 from the field , including 0/3 from behind the arc. Sometimes you just have to go with whats working

I'm picking Jeremy Phillips over Herron. Sure he was highly recruited out of high school , but if June Jones couldn't even find a roster spot for him at good ole SMU then I find it hard to believe that he just steps on the field and starts for us.
