Spring Break and not being able to drink might drive most away

I really think the whole place will cater strictly to the event. Some of the team may be on the patio , some may be in the media room. Sure neither area could hold everyone , but the the place as a whole should be fine. I'll be happy sitting wherever as long as I'm surrounded by hundreds of Mean Green fans. Just get there early enough to sit where you want I'd prefer at the ath center , but the pourhouse has been a great sponser for this board and UNT so I don't really mind it I think Kram just took over my keyboard

Doubt many students attend this. I thought there was going to be a huge crowd for the signing day event that was also held at the pourhouse. I believe it started it 6 so I got there at 4. For 2 hours there were less than 20 people there. Not until about 6:30 did people start to come in. I know it's Sunday and people will have more time , but this is UNT so don't expect cars to be lined up the movie theater like it should be. I expect about the same amount of people who drove to Hot Springs to be at this event ( 200+ or so ) I'm sure the media room will eventually get packed so I will be there around 3pm.

Yup , New Mexico beat up the same a&m team that took care of us. As far as Temple , no way we get them , but I can dream. I see the Owls maybe getting a 5-6 seed. * This is so much more fun than debating possible CBI bids !!

If Cuse happens to fall to a 2 seed , I'd glady take them on as a 15 seed. They are down to about 6 players. Looks like Onuako has an ACL injury

If I have to share a ranking with Kram I'd just rather lose the tiebreaker and be by myself at 8

This would be a great year to play some powerhouses like : UCLA,Indy,UNC,OU Give me Temple , a team that is not very deep at all. Here's how we would D up G : Luis Guzman 6'3 4.9 ppg vs Josh White. Size wouldn't be a factor as Guzman is not a scorer. Think a lesser Ben Bell G: Juan Fernadez 6'4 12.2 ppg vs TT. Very similar players , both lean bodies who shoot the trey. I'd take my chances with TT G : Ryan Brooks 6'4 senior avgs14.5 ppg vs Shannon Shorter. Brooks would have to be stopped , but he can get streaky and I think Shorter would do a good job on him F : Lavoy Allen 6'8 11.7ppg/10.8 rpg vs ET. Would be a great matchup F : Michael Eric 6'11 5.8 ppg. Anyone with 2 first names is gay anyways. Big yes , but has had 18 games this season with 5 or less points , nothing Big George couldn't handle. Allen vs ET could be a wash , but George vs Eric would give us the edge in the paint. Plus he missed a few games this season w/ an injury Bench is very untested : G Ramone Moore : good 6th man , avg 7.6 ppg in only 17 min of action G DiLeo : freshman guard who only gets about 6 min a game F Jefferson : a true freshman playing about 16 min a game G Randall : 14 minutes last 4 games G Wyatt : doesn't play. Most minutes in a game , 4 vs KU G Godino : does not play F Williams Big boy has only gotten 9 min in last 8 games F DeLeon : only 13 min all season F Clark : Does not play We get to the line better than anyone. We matchup well and if we force their hand to go to the bench early I'd say we could knock them off and I wouldn't even consider it a major upset

ULM had 17 people @ our game.. 17. I sat with Tony Hooper's dad who was one of the few in attendance MTSU,wKu,UNT,UALR,ASU were the top 5 schools. Nobody else was even close

There is no way UNT is only 6 in facilities

Just going by history there are only about 3 things we know for sure : 1) The NCAA will not put us in OKC 2 ) If there are 3 teams the committee deems as #14 seeds and 5 teams as #13 seeds , we will lose the tiebreaker and be deemed a # 14 seed 3) DJ will be denied a medical redshirt

It was a AWESOME experience. I highly recommend making the trip to everyone out there. Start making arrangements now if you have to , it will be worth it.

Then I'm on board. Just as long as it doesn't get so big that even a team like smu could get in BTW, it was nice to finally meet then man behind the screen name Let's do it again next year !!

So if this were to happen would the NIT automatically be eliminated ?

With only 64 teams making it each year , it makes it all the more meaningful when you do get to go IMO It would seem to dilute the tourney with almost 30% of all DI teams getting in if it went to 96 teams

Who knows , maybe he has second thoughts after last night.. LOI's aren't till April 14th ( i think )
