I really wish that they would just give the top 4 seeds 1st rd byes , then start it out 2 vs 17 , etc. Not sure if they format has been set , but that would be ideal & eliminate the dreaded " play in" game

Well based on that response this board is no place for hypotheticals , something to discuss in the off season or preparing for what might come in the future & speculating what might happen if our history does in fact repeat itself Let's face it , this is a real possibility ( us going 0 -3 ) & Dodge is not above any criticism. Until he produces a winning product on the field then 5 - 31 is all we can go by at this point.

What's the point of a message board then ? You want me to pump you full of Green Kool Aid. How about if we start out 3 - 0 , should we give Dodge a extension ? Of the 2 cases , which one is more likely ? Your right, our past is why there is liitle hope and until something is proven on the field this is a very legit question

Let's say we start out 0 - 3. Do we go ahead and fire TD & let Chico or DeLoach take over for the rest of the season ? Would give us a clean slate & must needed boost before conference starts I don't care if we lose by 7 pts to Rice and 3 pts to Army , moral victories are over for this era. No reason we can't beat Rice & Army. I really hope we start out 2 - 1 and have a ton of confidence heading into FAU. I think I speak for 99% of all of our fans when I say " we can't handle another poor start" I think naming Chico HC after the Army game ( if we start 0-3) would be our only chance to win a few games in Belt play and gain some enthusiasm as we head into the new stadium * I hope we don't have to think about this , but what if ? *

If we aren't at least .500 by the end of the 4th game I think we just might as well put an end to the Todd Dodge era. No reason we shouldn't beat Rice,Army & have a chance vs FAU. a 1- 3 or 0 -4 start is just unacceptable IMO A good start can build some much needed confidence in these kids and who knows how many wins we could reel off , another poor start would just demoralize this team.

How well are we really scouting ? I mean does Iowa,Minnesota & Wake Forest see something that we don't in that they have already offered ? Is this another local who gets offers from big time schools , but fails to get a offer from UNT ? If we are to have a chance with these big time , local recruits we need to offer all of them and do it early in the recruiting process.
