Scott Cross has put together a pretty nice class so far and it will only help the nice little rivalry we have going with the Mavs

Well behind Troy yes. Behind MTSU & FIU yes , but it's not would I would call way off. FIU only beat us by a TD last year. Our team didn't come to play this year vs FIU , the game was over before it even started. That was the same FIU that struggled to beat wKu the week before. A solid coach could easily beat ULM,ULL,wKu,FAU &ASU. That's 5 wins. That would be a huge turnaround considering what we have done over the past 3 + years. Again we play in the BELT. There are FCS conferences ranked above ours.

No kidding ? We've had the talent to compete w/ everyone in the Belt the last 4 years outside of Troy. Which is why it will not take years for a turn around. Any decent coach can come and here and start to win 5/6 games a year because we are in the by far the worst conference in all of football

So in a matter of 4 weeks you think he improved ? I saw him too in open gym and I gotta disagree that yes we did lose something. Was he going to contribute huge minutes this year ? Probably not , but we didn't need him to this season. We lost something for next year when we lose a lot to graduation. He will be a very good DI player when he is ready and gets things worked out. Is that Alex English Jr I see on Paris' roster ?

As much as I hate to say it , wKu is probably still number 1. We still have 3 ships to give so you never know how things will pan out. FIU also has some very solid recruits. If the SunBelt can start having these types of classes year in and year out this league will soon be a 2 bid league every year
